How to Begin Ruffian-Infested Village in TotK
“Ruffian-Infested Village” can be started by visiting the hills northwest of Lurelin Village near theSifumim Shrine. The closest tower is theRabella Wetlands Skyview Towerfrom which Link can quickly glide southeast toward the area.
Players should find Rozel and Bolson next to a campsite overlooking the village around thecoordinates 2784, -3269, 0083.

Rozel will relay the dire situation of the village to Link: monsters behaving like pirates have taken over Lurelin Village, making it too dangerous for any of its citizens to return. Players will need to enter the village and eradicate each one of the monster pirates to succeed in completing the side adventure.
Ruffian-Infested Village Walkthrough
The fastest way to enter town is by gliding down from the hills, but players have the option to enter on foot as well.
Dropping in from above allows Link to get off a few aerial sneak attacks on the monster forces before landing.

As a warning, it should be noted that the difficulty of many of the monsters in the village will be scaled to match the player’s current world level.
Players will find small gatherings of monsters near most of the structures left in the village and will have a “boss bar” to track their progress in defeating all the enemies.

There are also monsters aboard the large pirate ship docked at the harbor that players will need to take out. If they have difficult in boarding the ship, players can stand on the large fish skull below the bow of the ship and ascend onto the deck.
The “captain” of the pirate crew,a powerful Boss Bokoblin, will be found on the main deck and is also scaled to the player’s level. There are a couple bomb barrels on board that can be used to aid in the battle against the Boss Bokoblin and its pirate cohorts.

Where to Find the Last Monster in Lurelin Village
As Rozel previously stated, it’s too dangerous for villagers as long as a single one of the monsters remain. Some players may find some difficulty in this, and be left with a small sliver on the health bar of the monster forces.
There is one monster hiding underground that isoften missed by players. Link can find it near the coordinates2938, -3378, 0012,hiding underground.

At these coordinates, players will find the monster’s weapon and shield sitting on the edge of the Lurelin Village Well with a trail a smoke rising up from out of it.
Players can jump into the well to find the last Bokoblin cooking by a fire. If players still have other monsters to find, they can use Ascend to return to the surface.

How To Complete Ruffian-Infested Village in TotK
Once the final monster has been defeated, the game will cut to an assembly on the beach with Rozel, Bolson, and a few of the villagers that were hiding out nearby.
Incredibly thankful for Link’s liberation of the village, they will unfortunately be unable to reward him with anything at this time. However, Bolson will excitedly begin theLurelin Village Restoration Projectand can reward players handsomely once the village is repaired.
