The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdomfans notice a rather interesting potential Fuse combination in the game’s latest gameplay presentation. Nintendo has not revealed many details aboutThe Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, but it has offered some glimpses at the game’s new world, story, and gameplay features. The most comprehensiveZelda: Tears of the Kingdomreveal happened just recently, with series producer Eiji Aonuma discussing it in a video.
In theLegend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdomgameplay video, Aonuma discusses four key abilities that Link will have at his disposal in the new game. These abilities will be useful when it comes to combat inThe Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, but they will have some use when it comes to puzzle solving and exploration as well. Out of all thenew abilities inThe Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, though, the Fuse ability has been turning the most heads.

For the uninitiated,Fuse inThe Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdomlets Link combine two different objects together to create something new. Examples shown in the video include Link attaching a stick to a rock to create a hammer-like weapon, as well as putting an eyeball on his arrows to create a homing arrow. Link was also able to combine his shield with a mushroom. Reddit user MeeloMiles noticed that Link also had the option of combining his shield with a pitchfork, which is a very interesting combination that has left many fans wondering exactly how it would play out in the game.
While the video doesn’t show Link combining a pitchfork with his shield, he does fuse it with a stick. This creates a spear-like weapon that gives Link a lot more reach with his attacks, but there’s no word on what happens when Link decides to fuse the pitchfork with his shield instead. Luckily,The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdomrelease dateis right around the corner, so fans don’t have to wait too much long to play the game for themselves and experiment with Link’s new abilities.
This is just the latest detail fans have picked up fromThe Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdomgameplay presentation. There’s some evidence in the video to suggest that Link will be able toexplore underwater inTears of the Kingdom, though that has yet to be officially confirmed. Again, fans will just have to play the game for themselves when it drops next month to see what all is possible inTears of the Kingdom.
