On January 5, Microsoft announced a new Xbox Series X bundle that will includeForza Horizon 5 Premium Editionas the pack-in game. TheForza Horizon 5bundle is headed to retailers across the world, starting in North America and parts of Asia before heading to other regions down the line.
Developed by Playground Games and published by Microsoft Game Studios,Forza Horizon 5is the latest entry in the long-runningForzaseries. TheForza Horizonseries celebrated its 10th anniversarylate last year with plenty of content forForza Horizon 5players to take part in. With the vast, open roads of Mexico for players to drive through at their leisure and plenty of cars and customization options that can be unlocked and picked from,Forza Horizon 5is the most ambitious game in the franchise to date.Forza Horizon 5is capable of ray tracing and can run in 4K and 60 frames per second while in performance mode on the Xbox Series X, according to Microsoft.

The Xbox Series X bundle withForza Horizon 5 Premium Editionwill be released this week in North America and parts of Asia. Other regions such as Europe, Latin America, and more will see the bundle hit store shelves later in January. The bundle will have an estimated retail price of $559 in the US, and similar pricing in other regions, though Microsoft stated that the actual retail price may vary depending on country and retailer. This new bundle will include the Xbox Series X console, which comes with an Xbox Wireless Controller and all necessary cables, andForza Horizon 5 Premium Edition.This edition includes the base game, as well as various downloadable content packs. The DLC included with this bundle consists ofthe Hot Wheels expansion, a VIP Pass, a Car Pass, a Welcome Pack, and the upcoming second expansion when it launches. The second expansion does not have a name at the time of writing.
The bundle is available for pre-order starting today on the Microsoft Store in the US. Alternatively, current Xbox and PC players canplayForza Horizon 5via Xbox Game Passas well. With hundreds of games to choose from, and titles being added constantly, Microsoft is continuing to bank big on Xbox Game Pass.
