Meanwhile, Microsoft has confirmed some other important Xbox Series X Smart Delivery features. Smart Delivery will support any Xbox Game Pass titles that have it, which would include first-party Xbox games likeGears 5andHalo Infinite. Players can also expect their save files and progress to carry over from the Xbox One versions of the games to the Xbox Series X titles.
Call of the Sea
Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2
Yakuza: Like a Dragon
Xbox Smart Delivery could be a game-changer, and it would potentially make it so consumers don’t feel quite as hesitant to keep investing in their current-generation games. For example, with Xbox Smart Delivery,Destiny 2players don’t have to worry about buying the whole game again or losing any of their progress when they upgrade to the next-gen version of the game.
It’s also worth pointing out that even though not all Xbox One games will come with free Xbox Series X Smart Delivery upgrades, they will still be playable on the new system.Xbox Series X is backward compatible with Xbox One, and so even if players can’t get a free upgrade, they can still play their Xbox One games on the new console.
