On Reddit, a user known as Lindsiiiiii uploaded a short video that shows a glitch where the cat gets stuck in the ground. In the video, the top of half of the animal’s body is clipped into the ground while its hind legs and tail stick up. The player attempts to move, which shows the cat perform its normal walking animation while scooting along the ground. While the gamer does get out at the end of the video snippet, it provided anentertaining moment for fans ofStrayto enjoy, with even Lindsiiiiii stating that they love the bug.

After watching the clip, one commenter on Reddit asked how Lindsiiiiii got themselves into the situation that they uploaded, stating that they also wanted to try it. Lindsiiiiii responded by saying that they do not know how they ended up in the position, as they were walking normally and then suddenly found themselves stuck in the ground. Another user shared a different glitch that they found inStray, which involves the cat bugging out while turning on a radio. These types of issues in games can lead to frustrating moments, but sometimes they end up providing funny scenes for gamers to enjoy.

While some gamers are having fun withStray’sglitches, others have already started enjoying the modding scene for the cat simulator. One player going by the name MrBoptix was able tomod their real life cat intoStray, which they shared on Reddit. Except for a few small differences, the images that the user uploaded of the mod alongside their actual pet were spot on. This has led some of theStraycommunity to ask MrBoptix if they could create custom-made mods for the game, as well as some Redditors suggesting that the ability to customize the animal should be added to the title.
