Leysha Undercover
In order to traverse the crime scene safely and unimpeded, players should nab one of the two best disguises in the level immediately. The first of these is the federal agent disguise, easily accessible by snagging a police uniform and then upgrading to a forensics outfit. Having done so, players need only make their way past the room where Richard is found (on the right just past the forensics specialists in the hallway) and out onto the balcony, where an agent is standing within range to copy.
While ultimately overkill for this specific objective, players could also make use of Agent Olsen as a disguise, giving them the run of the level as long as they avoid walking into him. This requires Leysha to have theObfuscateupgrade that lets her imitate specific people or the reward from winning the confrontation with Richard.

Following the Clues
In order to identify Miley, players should make use of Leysha’sAuspex Visionto scan various parts of the loft. An important clue to this is the hole in the wall in the kitchen. Auspex will reveal a vision of the recent past here, allowing Leysha to witness Miley fighting one of the Second Inquisition attackers and slamming them through the wall, before being downed and staked by some other hunters.
Due to the subtitles outright indicating it was Miley, this makes it fairly obvious that the chalk outline in the storeroom where the vision ends is Miley’s. Make a note of the code “KI2,” and then head back out onto the balcony to match that code with one of the boxes containing staked vampires.

Once players are ready to leave the level, they need only speak to the agent near the boxes and ask to take KI2 downstairs in order to end the level.
Other clues players could use to identify Miley are statements from Richard and thewitness hanging from the ceiling in the bedroomopposite him. Both of them indicate that Miley was out on the balcony but ran indoors when the shooting started.

Reading various documents lying around the balcony also makes it possible to identify Miley by comparing the code they gave her in the documents describing the targets to the ones on the list of captured vampires, which also contains the codes used to indicate where they were downed.
Players could also make use of the process of elimination, using the scents of wine and smoke detectable with Auspex vision, along with Leysha’s analysis of the injured guard in the bedroom, to work out where every other captured vampire was. This narrows it down to two possible codes, and the box the other code refers to has already been moved downstairs.
