Miang’s coffin in Vampire Survivors

One of the most interesting characters that are introduced with this DLC is Menya, who is most notable for obtaining super speed and invincibility following the destruction of a significant number of enemies. However, as with all good things inVampire Survivors, Menya and Megalo Menya don’t come easy. Players will have to take steps to unlock both of them, with one of them being quite challenging. Here’s how to do it.

Unlock Miang

The first step to unlocking Menya is to unlock Miang, the first of theeight new charactersthat can be unlocked. Once the player spawns into the Mt. Moonspell stage, they’ll need toreview their map, where they’ll see a question mark. This is the location where they will find Miang.

The player must then navigate through the snowy landscape until they reach this building. Once there, they’ll need to enter and make their way through the corridors until they reach the central room where Miang’s coffin is. Unfortunately, it will be guarded by enemies. The player must rid the room of these foes before they can open the coffin. Once the coffin is open, Miang can be purchased.

evolving the Silver Wind in Vampire Survivors

Upgrade The Silver Wind

Miang’s starting weapon is the Silver Wind, which is the key to unlocking Menya. After Miang is unlocked, the player will need to do a run with her. The Silver Wind must be upgraded to its maximum of level 8 within this run. Additionally, the player will need a fully upgraded Pummarola that is at level 5. Once both of these items are maxed out, they can pick up a chest and evolve the Silver Wind into the Festive Wind. This will only work if both items are fully upgraded.

Menya in Vampire Survivors

If the player does not want to do a run with Miang, they can unlock the Silver Wind for all characters as an alternative. To do this, all they have to do is survive for 15 minutes as Miang. Then, they can choose any character they want to complete the run with. Once they have evolved the weapon to the Festive Wind, they can end the run. Obtaining this evolved weapon automatically unlocks Menya, allowing the character to be purchased from the menu.

Take Menya On An Unforgettable Run

Unfortunately, Menya is not the greatest character when it comes to defense, with a relatively low amount of max HP. However, the player must use Menya to complete a run in which they kill 100,000 enemies on a level of their choosing. They’ll need to choose thebest weapon combinationsto ensure they do the most damage as quickly as possible.

While this sounds impossible, considering the Reaper will come for the player eventually, it can be done. They’ll need the Seventh Trumpetto activateEndless Mode to keep the Reaper away. They’ll also need to go to the places on their chosen level that are most likely to generate the most enemies. The ideal choice would be where easier enemies spawn in great numbers to prevent Menya from taking any serious damage. The whole event will take anywhere from a half hour to an hour of the player’s real-time to complete. Once the run is successfully finished, Megalo Menya will be unlocked and available for purchase.

Her max HP is 80. Her might and luck are both +10%, banish +8, and cooldown -10%. Menya’s biggest feature is the ability to speed up and become invincible following the killing of many enemies. While the number to get to is quite high to enable this ability, it is worth the work, especially in the long run, to unlock Megalo Menya.

Details About Megalo Menya

Megalo Menya offers the player an alternative to Menya’s less-than-appealing defense. Megalo Menya cannot be injured at all but will disappear when the current time limit expires. Both characters' max HP is the same at 80, but Megalo Menya exceeds the stats of Menya with the following:

The starting weapon for this character is 108 Bocce. It generates 8 beads that float around the character and a black aura that inflicts damage to all enemies that get within it. It’s also the starting weapon of McCoy-Oni, another one of the DLC unlockable characters.
