This means that the graphics have a retro feel to them, though they do seem to have been upgraded at least somewhat. Nintendo Switch gamers needing a new horror game to play this Halloween should definitely consider checking it out come October 12.
Perhaps if this Switch port ofDementium: The Warddoes well, the developers may be convinced to bringDementium 2over to Nintendo’s home console/handheld hybrid as well. It would be great to see some of the moreunderrated games from the DS libraryget a new lease on life on the Switch, and sinceDementium 2reviews were stronger than the first game, it seems like it would be a perfect fit for the Switch library.

Needless to say, Nintendo Switch gamers will have plenty of horror options to choose from next month.
BesidesDementium: The WardandDementium 2, it would also be great to see some of the other DS games released by the now-defunct Renegade Kid get ported to the Switch. Another game that might be a good candidate would be the 2009 first-person shooterMoon. Similar toDementium,Moonearned mixed reviews, but still managed to cultivate a fanbase.Moonwas ported to the 3DS as a digital-only release, butsince the 3DS eShop has closed down, that version of the game is no longer available.
