Back in June of this year, Sony restructured its PlayStation Plus service, adding new tiers and systems. The standard PS Plus tier, now called “Essential” is the cheapest option, giving players access to online services, and two-three free games a month.PS Plus Extragives players a library of hundreds of PS4 and PS5 games to download and play, much like Xbox’s Game Pass service, whilePS Plus Premium throws some PS1, PS2, PSP, and PS3games into the mix along with Cloud streaming. Every month, PS Plus Extra and Premium get a handful of new games, and this month, Tom Clancy fans are going to be pretty happy.
On November 15, three Tom Clancy games are going to be added toPS Plus' Extra tier. These titles areRainbow Six Siege,The Division 2, andGhost Recon: Breakpoint. Though they may not all be of the same level of quality, each of these Tom Clancy titles offers a different type of gameplay, and will be a great addition to any PlayStation player’s library.

PS Plus Extra Adds Three Tom Clancy Games This Month
The clear standout of the three Tom Clancy games coming toPS Plus Extrathis month isRainbow Six Siege. Despite releasing all the way back in 2015, seven whole years ago,Rainbow Six Siegeis still widely considered to be one of the best multiplayer games out there. Over the last seven years, Ubisoft has added a plethora of new playable Operators to the game, each with their own set of unique abilities that are incredibly satisfying to master.
Rainbow Six Siegehas a bit of a steep learning curve, with some complex mechanics, in-depth strategies, and team combinations that just aren’t taught in-game, but if new players are willing to stick it out for a few hours, then there’s a truly engrossing multiplayer squad-based game here to enjoy. And for those that prefer more competitive,in-depth multiplayer shooters,Rainbow Six Siegeis likely to be the highlight of PS Plus Extra’s offerings this November.
The other heavy-hitter in PS Plus Extra’s November line-up bearing Tom Clancy’s name isThe Division 2. Another title that was released a few years ago, launching in 2019,The Division 2has had arguably even more support thanRainbow Six Siege. WhileSiegehas thrived on small content updates that bring new Operators to the game,The Division 2has opted for some more meaty expansionsthat add new enemy factions, areas, and loot.
The general gameplay loop ofThe Division 2sees players engage in a range of PvE activities across apost-apocalyptic-like Washington D.C., where a nationwide outbreak has caused civil war to break out across the United States. As Division agents, players will clear out rebellious factions from various D.C. landmarks and structures. WhileThe Division 2functions best as a cooperative, team-based shooter, players can also engage in PvP battles with other players as they attempt to steal valuable loot.
The last Tom Clancy game in this month’s PS Plus Extra offerings isGhost Recon: Breakpoint. Once a beloved squad-based tactical shooter series that pushed the technical boundaries of the consoles it was on,Ghost Reconhas now becomejust another generic Ubisoft open-world title, lacking any of its original identity. That being said,Ghost Recon: Breakpointcan still be an enjoyable - if unoriginal - cooperative open-world shooter, especially ifPS Plus Extraplayers can wrangle a squad of friends to team up with.
