How to Rotate Floor Tiles
After purchasing floor tiles of their preference from the build mode in The Sims 4, players can effortlessly rotate tiles. To rotate floor tiles, make sure to select the “Single floor tile” option. This option can be found in the Build menu, usually located on the left side of the screen. Click on it to be able to select individual floor tiles for rotation. Then, click on the specific floor tile that needs to be rotated. A highlighted tile indicates that it can be edited now.
Players can rotate floor tiles vertically and horizontally to get the desired direction and design.
Rotation will not work if the Single floor tile option isn’t enabled.
How to Get Quarter Floor Tiles
Flooring comes in different styles – tiles, wood, stone, masonry, and linoleum. Outdoor floor tiles are also a form of flooring, such as pavements on roads and sidewalks.
To create neat corner pieces for kitchen tiles, backyards, or a beautiful wrap-around porch for the Sim’s houses, it’s easier to use quarter floor tiles. Pressing the“Ctrl + F”keys simultaneously changes the shape of the floor tile to a nice trianglethat can be used to create an aesthetic corner piece.
