SkateBIRDhas been at the top of plenty of skaters' most anticipated games lists ever since it was announced late last year. Now that it’s finally out, some fans have been discovering secrets hidden inside the game, including a mysterious code that no one seems to know what to do with.
The code in question was discovered and posted to the sub-Reddit r/XboxGamePass by Reddit user u/xKSRed. They don’t provide the exact details of their code, as they believe that it could be individually generated, but they discovered it after sitting through the entire credit sequence.SkateBIRDintroduces the code by saying, “WOW, you’re still here huh? OK, you earned yourself a treat,” followed by three sets of seven numbers.

A commenter posted a code found at the end of a playthrough ofSkateBIRDon YouTube and the original poster confirmed that the two codes matched, meaning that they’re the same for everyone. The game’s secret code sequence is 7141983 3191994 5302013, however, no one can quite figure out what they do.
The original post has plenty of theories for what the codes might be used for, but nothing has been discovered in terms of solid uses for it. Unfortunately, many of discussions surroundingSkateBIRDare about how it hasn’t quite lived up tothe reputation of theTony Hawkskating gamesit was inspired by, so, based on the comments, it doesn’t seem like anyone there is going to be digging deep into the game to find where the code goes. Hopefully, someone discovers what the mysterious codes do sometime soon to uncover the easter egg.
SkateBIRDis a part of the skating game resurgence that’s been seen in the past few years. BetweenTony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1+2from last year,SkateBIRD, andthe highly anticipatedSkate 4, it looks like skating games are making something of a comeback. It’s unclear if the skating trend will stick, but based on how wellTony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1+2was received last year, it seems like there’s definitely a market for it.
Unfortunately,SkateBIRDwasn’t received quite as well, but rumors and leaks suggest thatthere might be another entry in theTony Hawk’s Pro Skaterseriessomewhere close on the horizon. It looks like the future of the skating genre wasn’t based on the success ofSkateBIRD, however, so with bothTony HawkandSkatemaking comebacks, it seems like skating fans can expect more games soon.
SkateBIRDis available on PC, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
