With the final Artifacts finally within their grasp, they’ll just need to deal with one or two final foes to unlock the path to the Unity and uncover its many secrets.

As with many of the game’s other conflicts though, players will have a chance to use their powers of persuasion to complete the Armillary without the need for any more bloodshed. This guide will provide information on how to skip the final boss fight inStarfieldand whether doing so is a good idea.

How to Skip the Final Boss Fight in Starfield (Spoilers)
Depending onthe player’s choice at the end of the Unearthed main story mission, the final boss fight ofStarfieldwill see players come up against either the Hunter, the Emissary, or both. Before things get underway though, players will have a chance to persuade them, and doing so successfully will allow them to skip the final boss fight entirely. The Emissary seems to be the most susceptible to persuasion due to his past relationship with another version of the playable character, but the Hunter can also be persuaded with the right prompts and a little bit of luck.
Whether or nota Persuasion attempt inStarfieldis successful appears to be random, so there’s no guarantee that the prompts in the video above will work every time. As such, players who want to guarantee their success should save the game before approaching the final boss(es).
Should You Skip the Final Boss Fight in Starfield? (Major Spoilers)
Starfield’s final boss fight is one of the best in recent memory and so there’s a strong argument to be made for experiencing it at least once. Players will also gain access to powerful weapons by defeating the Hunter and the Emissary, although it’s worth noting that they will lose these almost instantly if they opt to complete the game and begina New Game Plus run ofStarfield, which again, is highly recommended.
With all this in mind, it may be better to skip the boss fight during one’s first playthrough and then take on both the Hunter and the Emissary during the second. That way, players will still get to experience both outcomes and will also have a chance to spend some time testing out their fancy new gear. The Emissary’s weapon, Eternity’s Gate, is easily the better of the two, and he’ll also drop the Starborn Spacesuit Gravitas, so if players only want to take on one of the two Starborn it should definitely be him.
