In the video, j0nathan reveals that Ubisoft is aiming for an October 12Miragerelease date but states that it could be pushed to November. This is very much in-line with the franchise’s history, as pretty muchall majorAssassin’s Creedtitleshave released in either October or November.
The video goes on to explain howAssassin’s Creed Mirageis dramatically smaller in size and scope than some of the latest major titles in the franchise. The map will feature the city of Baghdad and some surrounding areas, and the skill tree will offer players around 15 skills and abilities. Additionally, according to j0nathan, there will only be four main assassination targets. For perspective,the originalAssassin’s Creedback in 2007 featured nine. Speaking of, fans of the earlier games will be pleased to learn thatMirageis rumored to be focusing on classicAssassin’s Creedstealth mechanics like eavesdropping and tailing targets. Taking fans' feedback into account even further, j0nathan says that sequences and cutscenes set in the modern day will be limited as well.
