A Rockstar Games insider has predicted that theGrand Theft Auto 6trailer will drop at some point between Friday, December 1 and Tuesday, December 5. Fans have been waiting forGrand Theft Auto 6for over a decade at this point, and so it’s safe to say that many of them are excited that the wait to see the game’s first trailer is nearly at an end.
To date, Rockstar has confirmed very little aboutGrand Theft Auto 6or what the highly-anticipated open world game will entail.Rockstar didn’t even confirm the game’s existence until February of last year, and it’s just now that fans have a trailer to look forward to, as it’s been confirmed that the first trailer is coming in early December. Rockstar has stopped short of providing a specific day in December that fans can expect to see theGrand Theft Auto 6trailer, but a Rockstar insider may have helped narrow things down.
Tez2, a proven Rockstar Games insider, has taken to Twitter to offer their prediction on when the firstGrand Theft Auto 6trailer will finally drop. Pointing out how the end of next week will likely be focused onGrand Theft Auto Onlineupdatessince December 12 marks the end of that game’s current event, they predict that Rockstar will drop theGrand Theft Auto 6trailer this coming weekend. If theGrand Theft Auto 6trailer doesn’t come this weekend, they believe it will be coming Tuesday at the latest. Now, fans should obviously take this claim with a grain of salt, but it would make sense and fit within the “early December” window for theGTA 6trailer.
So we can expect [theGTA 6trailer] either on Friday, during the weekend, or on Tuesday at most.
Some may be surprised that theGrand Theft Auto 6traileris seemingly not planned for The Game Awards 2023. And if theGTA 6trailer still hasn’t dropped by the time The Game Awards rolls around on December 7, perhaps there’s still a chance it will be at the show. But it’s always been a long shot for theGTA 6trailer to be at The Game Awards. TheGrand Theft Auto 6trailer is going to be so massive that it would completely overshadow every other game shown at the event, not to mention the games that are being nominated for awards. Other companies that have worked to get their games featured at The Game Awards would likely be upset if they had to compete with the first-ever trailer forGrand Theft Auto 6.
Regardless of when the firstGTA 6trailer drops, it will be interesting to see if the leaks about the game turn out to be true or not.Grand Theft Auto 6leakshave revealed that the game is apparently going to be set in Vice City with both a male and female protagonist. The first trailer should go a long way in clearing things up, so fans should stay tuned.
