Those who have playedRainbow Six Extractionunderstand the value of versatility. With a variety of objectives, enemy types, and maps, no two playthroughs are the same. Players need to be ready for anything but the operators are not largely equipped to handle everything.

This can be solved in one of two ways. This first is using a squad that covers each other’s weaknesses. The other option is to use Capitao. With the right loadout inRainbow Six Extraction, Capitao truly has no weakness and is capable of handling any objective by himself or with a squad.
Primary Weapon - PARA-308
Many operators need to be upgraded early to be any goodbut Capitao can hold off for a bit. His best primary weapon, the PARA-308, is available immediately. The other weapons he unlocks are statistically inferior to the PARA-308, so stick with the initial offering.

Capitao needs to be capable of fighting straight up and from the shadows, so he’ll need a gun for each situation. This is a loud gun for times when open combat can’t be avoided. Many gamers prefer a shotgun but that’s not in Capitao’s arsenal, so be sure to use his smoke bolt to keep enemies blind when they attack.
Secondary Weapon - PRB92
Once again, while other operators will need to beracking up experience at a tremendous rate, Capitao starts with his best (and only) secondary weapon. The PRB92 comes with a suppressor and should be used anytime the enemy isn’t aggressively attacking.
Even with the suppressor, the damage is enough to do what needs to be done. Capitao can score a one-hit kill on opponents from across the map if he hits them in their weal spot. The balance between the primary and secondary weapon reflects the operator’s capabilities well.
Explosive Tech - Impact Grenade
With so many bases covered, the explosive device that Capitao carries needs to shore up one final weakness. Enemies that get close, without a shotgun, can put him on bed rest and force him toheal for a long time between missions.

Enemies might be excited to make it past the smoke screens and toxic clouds, but they’ll be bumped right back into it with the Impact Grenade. This also puts them back in range of the PARA-308. It’s the “stay back” move that keeps Capitao from harm.
Gear - Recon Drone
Players will have to make snap decisions over whether to use poison or smoke bolts in the heat of the moment. The exception is if they know what the battlefield looks like ahead of time. The Recon Drone gives Capitao the recon intelligence that he needs to make these decisions ahead of time.
Spotting tougher enemies and elite units that need a poison dart is half of the battle, but don’t forget that the Recon Drone will also reveal open doorways and holes in walls. Those going for stealth will want to remember these locations and shoot a smoke bolt in the area for cover.
