Pokemon Scarlet and Violetplayers can find shiny Eeveelutions in Paldea. However, many aren’t fond of Shiny Jolteon’s design, whose fur looks like a muted shade of yellow-green. Reddit user Substantial-Pain4308 found this shiny Pokemon in the wild, saying that it looked “sick” because of its odd-coloration. They also jokingly asked fellow players if they should put it out of its misery.

Pokemon Scarlet and Violetplayers can use a Thunder Stone with Eevee to evolve it into a Jolteon. They can also find Jolteon wandering in West Province (Area One).

In the comments, manyPokemon Scarlet and Violetfans agreed with Substantial-Pain4308’s observation that the Shiny Jolteon didn’t look great. Some joked that the Pokemon should bebrought to a Pokemon Center to be treated. Meanwhile, others expressed their disappointment that Shiny Jolteon inPokemon Scarlet and Violetlooked dull compared to its vibrant golden fur in Gen 2.

Shiny Jolteon was first introduced in 2000’sPokemon Gold and Silver, where it had golden brown fur instead of the normal bright yellow. The Pokemon’s fur was switched to a bright green in 2003’sPokemon Ruby and Sapphire. However, the green shade became more muted as years went by, which explains why so many fans dislike how Shiny Jolteon looks in Gen 9.

In the past,Pokemonfans have made newshiny designs for Eevee and its Eeveelutions. For Jolteon, one artist created an electric blue version of it, which was unique but still suited its Electric typing. While it’s unlikely that Game Freak will edit Shiny Jolteon’s appearance inPokemon Scarlet and Violet, many fans can still use their creativity to change the Pokemon’s appearance through their art.
