A creative and talentedPokemon Scarlet and Violetfan has imagined what new Pokemon Tinkaton would look like in human form, with some seriously impressive results. The specific piece of art is known as a gijinka - essentially fan re-designs imagining animalistic creatures in a human-like form - and is one of the latest trends in the bustlingPokemonfan art community.
For those who may be unaware, Tinkaton is a new dual-type Fairy/Steel Pokemon introduced inPokemon Scarlet and Violetas part of Generation 9. Despite its relatively harmless appearance with a predominately pink color palette and cutesy design,Tinkaton may actually be the biggest bully of the franchise. According to its Pokedex entry, not only is Tinkaton’s hammer built from Pawniard and Bisharp pieces, but it is used as a bat to pelt rocks at unsuspecting Corviknight flocks, purely for sport.

The creative human version of Tinkaton comes from Reddit user u/crystalsuikun, who posted their creation to one of the site’s mainPokemon Scarlet and Violetforums. The fan drawing imagines the character with a slightly downsized hammer, although it remains at anime-sized proportions. Pink clothing with purple accents maintains the integrity of the original coloring, while blonde pigtails and a well-designed beanie expertly emulates Tinkaton’s voluminous hairstyle. In place of the enlarged hands are gloves, with a subtly mischievous expression and pose wrapping the whole fan drawing together.
One of the early standouts from the latest generation ofPokemon, fans have been quick to draw Tinkaton in a variety of forms. Another piece ofPokemonfan art imagined what it would look like ifTinkaton was from the Galar region. While the fan art doesn’t heavily alter the Pokemon’s appearance like the one above, it does make its hammer substantially longer, darker, and sharper. Knowing Tinkaton’s bullying nature, the massive reach of the fan-made hammer would certainly be intimidating to come across.
Pokemon Scarlet and Violetfans have been drawing more characters than just Tinkaton in different forms. Rather than imagining a new Pokemon as human, one fan has createddrawings ofPokemon Scarlet and Violet’s human characters as Pokemon. The game protagonists, along with supporting characters all receive cleverly-executed Pokemon transformations. The protagonists are Sprigatito and Quaxly, Arven as Rockruff, Nemona as Pawmot, and Penny as Sylveon, all of which include components of their human form worked into their design.
With a distinct design, fan-favorite accessory and overall deceptive charm,Pokemonfan art of Tinkatondoesn’t look like it will be slowing down any time soon.
