During that time frame, players will have access to an event-exclusive Timed Research, called “Lovely Wishes,” that has a branching path. Step 2 (Catching Pokemon Wish)
Selecting this wish grants the following bonus for the duration of the Valentine’s Day event:double Catch XP.

As players that peruse this list are sure to note, the rewards that can be earned by completing the Lovely Wishes Timed Research are nearly identical across all three paths. The only exception is that fans that opt for the wish focused aroundPoGO’s Daily Adventure Incensewill earn an additional 25 Ultra Balls. Those bonus Poke Balls do provide some amount of incentive to select that path, though players should really be basing their decisions around the bonuses that are associated with each wish.
With respect to the tasks that make up the Lovely Wishes Timed Research, those are also almost identical for all three wishes. Indeed, the paths share all but one task, which is adjusted to be aligned with each wish’s bonus. This makes it even easier forPokemon GOplayersto make the bonuses the primary factor when picking a path, as the differences between their tasks are negligible.
