One of the highlights of theGreedy Gluttons event inPokemon GOis the debut of the Junkivore PokemonGuzzlord. Resembling a giant mouth with two pincer-mouths for arms, Guzzlord is a Dark/Dragon Ultra Beast from the Alola region. From November 8 to 23, Guzzlord will be available for players to battle and catch as a 5-Star Raid Pokemon.
How To Catch Guzzlord In Pokemon GO
Asa new Ultra Beast, Guzzlord will spawn from Ultra Wormholes inPokemon GO. These portals have a chance to appear at Gyms, visible in the same place as a Raid Egg above the Gym symbol. Once the portal has opened, which takes the same amount of time as a Raid Egg hatching, players will be able to battle Guzzlord.
Players must use a Raid Passto enter the Guzzlord Raid, after which they will work together with up to 19 different trainers to defeat the Ultra Beast. If Guzzlord is successfully beaten within 5 minutes, all the players in the Raid will get a chance to catch the Junkivore Pokemon. Like normal Raids, players who fail to defeat Guzzlord can try again as many times as they like within the following 45 minutes.

Guzzlord has a massive HP pool, but very middling Defense. This means that a small group of players, or even a single player with the right counters and goodPokemon GOweather conditions, will have a good chance of taking down the Junkivore Pokemon.
Guzzlord Counters And Moves In Pokemon GO
As a Dark/Dragon-type Pokemon, Guzzlord is incredibly weak to Psychic damage, taking 4x the normal amount. It is also weak to Dragon, Ice, and Fighting, but strong against Fire, Water, Electricity, Grass, Ghost, and Dark. Finally, Guzzlord is completely immune to Psychic damage.
StrongFairy Pokemon like Gardevoiror Togekiss using Charm and Dazzling Gleam will work well against Guzzlord, as will Mega-evolved Pokemon that can use Fairy-moves, like Alakazam, Altaria, or Latias. Zacian or Shadow Ursaring can also be good, using their moves Quick Attack, Counter, and Play Rough.

Once players have managed to acquire their own Guzzlord, they’ll want to know the best move-set for the Junkivore Pokemon. Overall, Snarl and Brutal Swing are Guzzlord’s best attacking moves. Alternatively, Guzzlord can take on Pokemon that are weak to Dragon damage using a combination of Dragon Tail and Dragon Claw.
