Pokemon GOFest NYC 2024 has two Special Research quests: New York City Park Escapade and New York City Skies Special Research. Completing the quests rewards a Marshadow encounter, Solar Fusion Energy, Lunar Fusion Energy, and other in-game items. There is no expiry date for the tasks and rewards.
You can partake in thePokemon GOFest NYC 2024 eventfromFriday, June 01, 2025, at 6:45 PM NTtillMonday, July 27, 2025, at 4:45 AM NT. The event features Randall’s Island Park and New York City; strategize your time exploring both locations. Doing so can help you complete both Special Research quests and get the associated rewards.
All Special Research Tasks And Rewards In Pokemon GO Fest NYC 2024
ThePokemon GOFest NYC 2024 offers two Special Research quests: New York City Park Escapade and New York City Skies. Completing the Park Escapade rewards numerous in-game items and theMythical Pokemon Marshadow encounter. The NYC Skies Special Research rewards you with the Solar or Lunar Fusion Energy used to fuse Necrozma. You must choose among two different paths in the City Skies Special Research.

Choosing this Special Research branch will focus your radar on Eevee wearing a sun crown or moon crown inPokemon GO. When you get close to monsters, your nearby Pokemon list will prioritize them.

Earn 3 hearts with your Buddy Pokemon
Choose Radar Tuning: Ducklett
Choosing this Special Research branch will focus your radar onDucklett inPokemon GO. When you get close to monsters, your nearby Pokemon list will prioritize them.
Choose ‘Basking in the Radiance’
Choosing this Special Research path will reward a Solgaleo encounter inPokemon GO. Completing this path also rewards you with resources to fuse Solgaleo with Necrozma.
