In thePokemonuniverse, many community members would say that Eevee is one of the most flexible Pokemon in the whole roster. Being able to evolve into different element types to fit the player’s needs, Eevee seems to have become as well known as theiconic Electric Pokemon Pikachu. Now, thePokemonfanbase continues to take inspiration from Eevee’s different evolutions, with one such fan creating an incredible paper origami figure of Eevee’s Electric-type evolution, Jolteon.
Eevee’s evolutions offer a variety of visuals and types that make them quite flexible. This is likely why The Pokemon Company continues to use the whole lineup of pocket creatures in official merchandise as well as brand collaborations and partnerships. Some fans may recall that alimited editionPokemonx Bear Walker skateboard collectionwas dedicated to the Eevee evolutions, and many often use the likeness of these pocket creatures to produce original fan art and merchandise.

To continue their series ofPokemonpaper origami creations, Redditor ino87origami shared their latest project on the online forum. This time, the artist focused on Eevee’s Electric-type evolution, Jolteon. Many people may remember Jolteon with fondness, as it is one of the first Eevee evolutions introduced in Gen 1 of thePokemonvideo games. Evolving Eevee into one of its many types can be memorable forPokemonplayers, as they often have certain conditions. In most games, evolving Eevee into Jolteon requires giving the Pokemon an evolution item called the Thunder Stone.
The creator of the Jolteon origami figure is already quite known on Reddit for their amazing paper-folding skills. They have been posting their otherPokemoncreations on the platform, and some of them include legendary Pokemon like Ho-oh, Giratina, Rayquaza, Kyogre, and Groudon. However, their most recent pieces seem to be centered around Eevee and its evolutions. Ino87origami already shared theirpaper origami figures of Vaporeonand Eevee. Jolteon is their most recent creation, and community members are likely expecting the artist to complete the whole lineup of Eevee evolutions soon.
With six more Eevee evolutions — Flareon, Espeon, Umbreon, Leafeon, Glaceon, and Sylveon — to go through,Pokemonfans will likely see more of ino87origami’s work being shared on Reddit. Given the huge number of pocket creatures in thePokemondatabase, it will definitely be an exciting feat if the artist is able to make paper origami versions of every single one in the roster.
