Mystery Gift has been a feature inPokemonthat allows players to connect their Nintendo system online to receive a gift from The Pokemon Company. Whenever there is a special event, players can use Mystery Gift and the Pokemon will show up in the players' game in thePokemon Center. IfPokemon Brilliant DiamondandShining Pearlplayers want tounlock Mystery Giftso that they can receive special gifts, like a Manaphy Egg, from the game developers.
To unlock Mystery Gift inPokemonBrilliant DiamondandShining Pearl,trainers must first make their way to Jubilife City, which is an area in the southwest of the Sinnoh region known for its TV station, Trainers' School, and Poketch building. Players will be able to unlock Mystery Gift by going inside the TV Station tower and heading to the third floor. However, players will first need to defeat the first Gym Leader, Roark, in Oreburgh City, and also complete a story-related double battle on Route 204 (players will know what it is once it happens).

How To Unlock Mystery Gift in Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl
Once both of the previously mentioned story moments are complete, players can head inside of the TV station and go up to the third floor.
On the third floor of the station, go ahead and speak to the man in sunglasses that’s standing next to a blonde woman. This man is the TV producer at the station and wants the players' opinions to improve upon their programming. He will then ask the player to choose from a list of different TV programs:
Choose the last option:Everyone Happy Wifi Connection. TheMystery Gift optionwill now be unlocked in the menu and players can use it to get a Mystery Gift via the internet or get it via a code/password.
The Pokemon Company will announce new events as time goes on, but at launch for the game until July 09, 2025,Pokemon Brilliant DiamondandShining Pearlplayers can receive a Manaphy Eggthrough Mystery Gift. This is the only way for players to get Phione and Manaphy organically inDiamond/Pearl.
