The PlayStation Stars loyalty program is free to join for all PSN users, and PlayStation Plus members have access to additional reward opportunities. PlayStation Stars users may complete quests, campaigns, and activities to earn rewards and points. Points earned in PlayStation Stars may be used to redeem digital collectibles and PlayStation Store credit. Currently,PlayStation Stars is available to join nowin Japan, Asia, North America, and South America. Players in Europe and Australia may join PlayStation Stars starting October 13.

Starting today, PlayStation Plus members will receive PlayStation Stars points for digitalCall of Duty Modern Warfare 2andGod of War Ragnarokpre-orders. Sony sent out a notification through PlayStation Network to inform users that all existing pre-orders for the two upcoming games are eligible for PlayStation Stars points.Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2andGod of War Ragnarokpre-orders made after October 5 are still eligible as well. Users should be able toearn PlayStation Stars pointsfrom these pre-orders leading into launch day.

These limited-time campaigns allow PlayStation Stars users to earn points following the launch of these games. Players planning to purchase both games should be able to amass a wealth of PlayStation Stars points this October and November. Sony did not share exact details about the new campaigns, but the company will likely share more news closer to the games' launch dates.
