Honeyis a rare type of foodstuff you won’t always come across inPalword. Unlike other survival games, you may’t just find a random beehive and start clawing its inside for nectar. Here, you’ll have to look for the bees themselves.

It’s likely that most players will only start gettingPalworldHoney after a few hours of gameplay, which is perfectly fine, considering the main recipe that uses this ingredient. If you’re at this point of the game where you’re ready to start breeding Pals, here’s where you can find all the Honey you need.

Where to find Beegardes in Palworld

How to Get and Farm Honey

Unsurprisingly, you can get Honey from bees — specifically,BeegardeandElizabee. These Pals can be found north of the Plateau of Beginnings, past the sandy shoal where all the Gobfins hang around. You can often find Beegardes patrolling in small groups, and Elizabees almost always come with an entourage of Beegardes. Hunt them down to get Honey, orcatch a few of themso they can work at your base.

If you pick up and throw Beegardes onto aRanch, they’ll start spewing out Honey, much like how Lambballs do with Wool. However, this can be very time-consuming as Beegardes are fairly slow when it comes to Honey production. Still, it’s better than nothing, and it won’t cost you any resources, either. Hunting down Beegardes will eat away at your gear durability and ammo, which may force you to upscale your production.

Cinnamoth habitats in Palworld

Weirdly enough, bees aren’t the only monsters that drop Honey. You can also get some fromCinnamothandWarsect. The former can be found frolicking around at the center of the archipelago or near the Gobfin’s Turf fast travel point north of Katress' boss arena. Meanwhile, Warsects can occasionally be found at theNo. 2 Wildlife Sanctuary, which is all the way to the western edge of the map above Mount Obsidian.

You can also try your luck at capturing the Warsect boss by the Gobfin Turf waypoint. However, we recommend against hunting Warsects as they are far more valuable as base workers oras summoned Pal companions, considering how well they can fight as a hybrid Ground/Grass-type Pal.

Honey is a key ingredient for making Cake, which is used to breed and fuse new Pals. This process is a bit more complicated, though, and you’re going to need to build the right facilities to get Pal eggs right within the comfort of your base.
