One Pieceis currently in one of its greatest stretches of chaptersand the final sagahas proven to be nothing short of an incredible ride for the fans so far. Recently, Oda threw a lot of focus on the Reverie flashbacks and it is quite clear to see that it was one of the very best flashbacks that the fans have enjoyed in the story, even though there is a plethora of amazing ones inOne Piece. This Reverie flashback gave fans a lot of information about those who sit at the top of the world, that is, the Celestial Dragons and, among them, specifically the highest ranking ones, such as the Gorosei, also known as the Five Elders, and the sovereign of the world, Imu themselves.

At the same time, fans also got some insight into the lore connectedto the Void Century, which is a big mystery in the story the answers to which are yet unknown. Among all this information dump, Oda also revealed the Warrior Gods of the One Piece world, which is very interesting, to say the least.
The Gods Of The One Piece World
Fans have always known that Gods exist in the world ofOne Piecein peculiar ways. Whether there is an actual God or not is up for debate, however, what can be said for sure is that there are people in theOne Pieceworld who have claimed the title of God for themselves on more than one occasion. In Skypiea, the ruler of the Kingdom called themselves God. Meanwhile, Whitebeard mentioned that 400 years ago, on top of the Red Line, there lived a race of Gods called the Lunarians. Why exactly the Lunarians were gods is something that nobody knows at this point in time, however, they certainly did possess tremendous powers.
Fans also know that the Celestial Dragons call themselves the Gods of the world. In fact, they are believed to be the creators of the world and this creation took place 800 years ago, whenthe World Governmentwas formed on the back of the Great War that saw the demolition of the Ancient Kingdom. As such, gods are pretty common in theOne Pieceworld so, the idea of Warrior Gods existing inOne Pieceshould not come as a surprise to any fan at all.
Nonetheless, seeing characters being termed as Warrior Gods is exciting for the fans as it indicates that these Gods, in particular, have a high level of combat-related powers, which is going to be incredible to witness in the future of the story.
Who Are The Warrior Gods In One Piece?
In One Piece chapter 1086, fans finally got a proper introductionto all members of the Gorosei.Previously, fans only knew of Saint Jaygarcia Saturn, who was introduced to the fans on board Kizaru’s ship which is headed towards Egghead Island. A lot of the fans assumed that the Gorosei would slowly be introduced in the series and that Saint Jaygarcia Saturn was only the first one of the bunch. However, this couldn’t have been further from the truth. Oda decided to introduce all of them to the fans in the previous chapter and they are the people who bear the title of the Warrior Gods of the One Piece world.

As the highest ranking of the Celestial Dragons, it makes sense for them to be warriors on top of being the Gods of the world as well. This means that among all the Celestial Dragons and, likely, among all the characters that exist inOne Piece, they are among the very strongest and are to be feared. Saint Jaygarcia Saturn, who was introduced to the fans much before the others, was revealed to be the Warrior God of Defense Science inOne Piecechapter 1086. This explains why Saturn chose to go to Vegapunk, who is the greatest scientist in the entire world. The title of the Warrior God of Defense Science also indicates that he has some scientific prowess and it might even be linked to his combat abilities, however, that remains unconfirmed at the moment.
The blonde member of the Five Elders was revealed to be Saint Shepherd Ju Peter and he is the Warrior God of Agriculture. The fact that he is a Warrior God in itself is an implication that he is very strong, however, how agriculture ties into his powers or his position remains unknown at this point in time. At the same time, Saint Topman Warcury was revealed to be the Warrior God of Justice, which could mean that the cases related to passing justice go through him in the World Government or that he has a Devil Fruit power related to it in some way or form. Either way, he is a powerful Warrior God to be feared in theOne Pieceworld.
Meanwhile, Saint Marcus Mars is the Warrior God of the environment and, perhaps his powers have something to do with the environment, or maybe that is simply what his position in the World Government requires him to take care of. Finally, Saint Ethan Baron V. Nusjuro is the Warrior God of Finance and, how this ties into his power or position in the World Government is also unknown. Nonetheless, what fans do know is that all of these characters are incredibly powerful and they likely rank among the strongest in the entire world, possibly even above the likes of the Yonko, however, that remains unconfirmed as well.
Other Warrior Gods Of The World
The Five Elders being the Warrior Gods of theOne Pieceworld means that there are other gods in the story as well. Looking closely at their names, fans can easily draw connections to the planets within the solar system. For instance, Topman Warcury is named after the planet Mercury. Similarly, V. Nusjuro is named after the planet Venus, while Marcus Mars is named after the planet Mars. At the same time, Saint Shepherd Ju Peter is named after the planet Jupiter, while Saint Jaygarcia Saturn is named after the planet Saturn.
This leaves behind Earth, whichcould be somehow linked to Imu, the actual sovereign of the entire world. This also implies that Imu is likely a Warrior God themselves and the fact that they possess a powerful Devil Fruit, which was demonstrated in the Reverie flashback further backs this up. What exactly Imu is the Warrior God of remains to be seen. There are also the Ancient Weapons in the world ofOne Pieceand these are Uranus, Poseidon, and Pluton. All of them are named after planets in the solar system as well. Uranus is named after the planet Uranus, while Poseidon draws inspiration from Neptune (who is Shirahoshi’s father, in this case), and finally, Pluton is named after Pluto. This could indicate that all of the Ancient Weapons, if they are actual people, are likely to be the Warrior Gods of the world as well.
This also leads fans to the Sun, which is the star at the center of all of this. Luffy is the Sun God in the world ofOne Pieceand he is said to be the Warrior of Liberation. This would mean that Luffy is the Warrior God of Liberation and the one that is superior to every single other Warrior God in theOne Pieceworld.
