Over on the official Twitter page for Nintendo of America, it was announced thatNintendo Switch Sportswill be receiving a free content update for all players on July 26. This update will allow players to use the leg strap accessory in Four-on-Four and One-on-One soccer matches, as well as provide new volleyball moves for players to utilize during active gameplay.
In addition, new updates are being made to theNintendo Switch Sportsonline Pro League. Players will now be able to achieve an S rank and an infinity rank in online multiplayer. It’s unclear what the required parameters for achieving these ranks will be, but it will still likely relate closely to the ranking system that players are already familiar with.
While these new technical additions to gameplay and online multiplayer will surely benefit players, it may not have been the update fans may have been hoping for. Ever since it was confirmed by Nintendo, back whenNintendo Switch Sportsfirst launched, many fans have beenwanting to see new games released forNintendo Switch Sports. However, since the initial announcement, there hasn’t been much by way of further information.
