The following contains spoilers for the finale ofMs. MarvelNow thatMs. Marvelhas reached the end of its first (but hopefully not only) season, everyone has begun the traditional rush to the internet in search of clarifying answers. However, some questions may be a bit less hard-hitting than others, and somehow, those are the ones that just got answered by Iman Vellani herself.
After a particularly potentrevelation from Bruno in theMs. Marvelfinalethat could potentially shake up the entire Marvel Cinematic Universe,Ms. Marvelis now in the phase where its stars can spend a little time basking in the show’s residual glow as the fanbase grows ever larger. There is perhaps a no better way to do this than via an “ask me anything” session, and that’s exactly whatMs. Marvelstar Vellani did in the wake of that shocking finale. But what burning questions did fans bring to the table?

In the refreshingly well-moderated Reddit AMA session,Vellani fielded queries from usersregarding all sorts of topics. From curiosity about filmingMs. Marvelto recommendations for her favorite Pakistani food and everything in-between, the young actress offered some great insight into many subjects. One such question came from a user who asked Vellani what movie she would pitch to Marvel Studios if she could pick any. Her response came in the form of an enthusiastic “silversurfer silversurfer silversurfer silversurfer silversurfer silversurfer” with nary a punctuation mark in sight.
An MCU Silver Surferwould definitely be an interesting idea, particularly given how poorly-received the character’s last high-profile appearance was in 2007’s critically pannedFantastic 4: Rise of the Silver Surfer. However, this is just one glimpse into Vellani’s whole deal, and she had a lot more to offer. Fans who participated or even just observed the AMA quickly came to realize that the actress herself shares a number of personality quirks with her character of Kamala Khan/Ms. Marvel. Namely, this includes her infectious enthusiasm.
Several commenters included questions about Vellani’s experience filmingthe surprisingly shortMs. Marvel, and her responses almost felt like they came from Kamala herself. One post asked about the toughest scene to get through due to laughing, and it turns out her answer was in the finale when Bruno reveals that Kamala is a mutant. Vellani replied, “the take you see in on D+ is one of two takes we got where I didn’t giggle when Matt [Lintz] said the word. I just couldn’t believe it. I still can’t say that word IRL without letting out what sounds like a Ron Swanson giggle.”
Others discussed Vellani’s favorite movies, her thoughts on the differences between the comics and the show, and even whether she’s Team Kamran or Team Bruno, the latter of which she gave an extensive reply going over the pros and cons of both potential love interests before adding, “I can’t sleep at night….” If this is the sort of energy fans have to look forward to when Kamala Khan appears again after thateaster egg-filled 6th episode ofMs. Marvel, it looks like the future of Ms. Marvel as a character is a bright one.
