Even though most of theCall of Dutyplayer base focuses solely on the multiplayer aspect of the games, some players enjoy learning more about the backstory of beloved characters like Soap or Ghost.
Game studios like Treyarch and Infinity Ward have placed special intel items in various game modes, so players can find them and learn a little more about these characters or events. InCall of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, players can find Intel in the form of USB sticks, blue folders, crates, or audio logs scattered throughout various Spec Ops missions.

Here’s the location of all 20Intel fragmentsinLow Profile. Additionally, finding 20 Intel items will reward players with a trophy/achievement. And finding all 50 Intel items will reward players with a calling card, emblem, and weapon skin.
Players should eliminate all the enemy units of each Target Site before attempting to collect Intel Fragments since they can easily overrun players if left unchecked. Furthermore, there’s no time limit to complete the Low Profile Spec Ops missions, so players can take their time searching for Intel Fragments.
Low Profile - Intel Fragment 1/20
The first Intel drop can be found near the B Target Site (marked on the map). Players will find the USB Stick Intel fragment inside a building with three arches on top of a table.
Low Profile - Intel Fragment 2/20
Now players should head to the roof of the same building, where they’ll find the second Intel Fragment in the shape of a crate.
Low Profile - Intel Fragment 3/20
The third Intel Fragment (in the shape of a crate) can be found on top of the roof of a building north of the previous one (marked on the map). Players can access the roof by climbing up a ladder located on the exterior of the building.
Low Profile - Intel Fragment 4/20
Players should now head over to the bridge located toward the west side of the map (the one closest to the C Target Site). In the middle of the bridge, players will find a small white truck with the fourth Intel Fragment inside of it (in the shape of a crate). There’s a slight chance an enemy Juggernaut (which is a lot harder to fight than an armored unit) will be patrolling the area, so players should be careful while collecting this Intel Fragment.
Low Profile - Intel Fragment 5/20
The fifth Intel Fragment is located past the bridge (where the fourth Intel Fragment was) inside a “W-shaped” building with a giant antenna on the roof. The USB Stick Intel Fragment can be found on top of a table with a computer on the first floor.
Low Profile - Intel Fragment 6/20
Players can find the sixth USB Stick Intel Fragment inside the same building and on the same floor. The Intel Fragment will be plugged into a laptop between two radios (toward the set of stairs that goes to the second floor).
Low Profile - Intel Fragment 7/20
Now, players should head to the second floor of the same “W-shaped” building since the seventh Intel Fragment (in the shape of an Audio Log) will be located on top of a desk with several documents.

Low Profile - Intel Fragment 8/20
The eighth Intel Fragment is found inside the building directly south of the “W-shaped” building. Players can find the Audio Log Intel on top of a cabinet in the kitchen.
Low Profile - Intel Fragment 9/20
Players will be able to collect the ninth Intel Fragment within the same building, but they’ll need to go to the second floor. Once there, players should look for a room that has a laptop since the Intel Fragment will be plugged into it (it’s a USB Stick).
Low Profile - Intel Fragment 10/20
Players should go to the room next to the ninth Intel Fragment they found since the tenth Intel Fragment will be located on top of a bedside table (it’s an Audio Log).
