As players peruseMarvel Snap’s in-game Shop, they are sure to notice a section that is dedicated to Fast Upgrades. This section allows fans to upgrade their cards without the requisite number of Boosters, provided that they have some additional Credits in hand. Before a player puts their Credits toward performing a Fast Upgrade inMarvel Snap, they may want to know if it is worth engaging with the feature, and this guide is here to address exactly that.
Marvel Snap: Should You Buy Fast Upgrades
In general, it is recommended that playersdo notuse theirCredits inMarvel Snapto purchase Fast Upgrades. This is due to the fact that it is Credits, not Boosters, that ultimately limit the rate at which cards can be upgraded. Indeed, fans will eventually find themselves in the situation where they have enough Boosters to perform numerous upgrades but are lacking in Credits, and spending excess Credits on Fast Upgrades will cause that situation to arise much more frequently.

The one time that a player may want to purchase a Fast Upgrade is if they reach the 5,000 Credit maximum, do not have enough Boosters to perform any upgrades, and have pending Credits to claim. This is not a particularly likely scenario, though, asMarvel Snapfanswill typically be in need of Credits over Boosters.
Marvel Snap: How Do Fast Upgrades Work
For those players that would like information about Fast Upgrades beyond an assessment of their value, three cards will appear in the Fast Upgrade section every eight hours. These will always be cards that a player has in theirMarvel Snapcollection, and buying a Fast Upgrade is essentially buying the outstanding Boosters that are required to upgrade them. This is done at a rate of 5 Credits per Booster, and the Boosters that a player already has will be consumed when the Fast Upgrade is performed.
To provide an example of how this could manifest in-game, upgrading a Commoncard inMarvel Snapto Uncommon costs 25 Credits and five Boosters using the standard method. If such a card were to appear in the Fast Upgrade section of the Shop and the player had no Boosters, the cost would be 50 Credits. However, if the player had four of the requisite five Boosters, the cost of the Fast Upgrade would be just 30 Credits plus those Boosters. This sliding cost for Fast Upgrades holds true at all upgrade levels, making it quite easy to calculate.
