One of those captivating individuals was Skull Kid fromThe Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask.
Following the verysuccessful release ofOcarina of Time,Majora’s Maskhad the daunting challenge of continuing the popularity of the franchise. Fortunately, the game was well-received, with many gamers praising the eerie design of the main protagonist, Skull Kid. In the story, the character discovered Majora’s Mask and used its magical power to cause mayhem in the land of Termina. Recently, one fan received some interesting artwork of this unusual villain.

In a post on Reddit, a user known as Silas_in_the_closet shared a picture of a recent tattoo they received. However, this was no ordinary tattoo, as it featured a stunning image ofSkull Kid fromMajora’s Mask. Located on the upper right arm of the Reddit user, the design featured the character wearing the iconic Majora’s Mask. In addition to the impressive appearance of Skull Kid, the tattoo included Tael, one of the fairies seen throughout the story. While another fairy, Tatl, was found with Skull Kid at the start of the game, Silas_in_the_closet decided not to include it because it stays with Link for most of the adventure. One highlight of the artwork was that it featured color on the mask and Tael, helping to make the picture stand out.
This awesomeMajora’s Masktattoo received by Silas_in_the_closet made an impression on numerous members ofThe Legend of Zeldacommunity on Reddit. Many were impressed with the level of detail displayed in the design, as it accumulated over 1,200 upvotes in less than a day. In addition, some commented that they liked that the mask and Tael were the only parts of the artwork that had color. Furthermore, another fan even claimed that they wanted to get a tattoo done in a similar style to the one seen in the Reddit post.
It’s exciting to see new artwork inspired byThe Legend of Zeldaseries created by talented fans. Besides this impressive Skull Kid tattoo based onMajora’s Mask, one gamer recently remadeKakariko Village fromOcarina of Timein Unreal Engine 5. As fans continue to wait for the release ofBreath of the Wild 2, presumably sometime this year, it will be interesting to see what other things fans design based on the series in the interim.
