Developer Warhorse Studios and publisher Deep Silver have announcedKingdom Come Deliverance 2,the sequel to the 2018 action role-playing game.Kingdom Come Deliverance 2,which is scheduled for a 2024 release, continues the story of the heroic Henry as he moves beyond seeking revenge for his murdered family and journeys towards becoming a true knight. It features a larger and more expansive world than the first game, a more in-depth combat system, reactive dialogue, and many different directions players can take Henry on his quest.
Several members of the Warhorse Studios team promised bigger and better things for the world, combat, characters, and more. One thing they consistently highlighted was the scale of the game. “It’s what the first game was supposed to be, but we couldn’t do because there weren’t enough resources,” explains Tom McKay, who plays Henry. Warhorse has beenworking onKingdom Come Deliverance 2since the launch of the first game, and the final product promises to be epic.

Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 Offers Players An Entire City To Explore
Kingdom Come Deliverance 2is primarily set in the medieval city of Kuttenberg, a real-life town located in the heart of the Bohemia region (what is now the Czech Republic.) Due to the success of its silver mining industry, Kuttenberg was one of the richest and most prosperous cities in the Middle Ages. Lead character artist Anna Pacesova and creative director Daniel Vavra highlighted the fact thatKingdom Come Deliverance 2will offer more than the default “muddy, dirty, medieval world.” Instead, players can expect something more grandiose in presentation, perhaps reflecting Henry’s ongoing journey.
From the bustling streets of Kuttenberg to the lush forests surrounding it, Henry and his allies - including, of course, the ever-loyal and cheerful Sir Hans - have avast historical open world to explorein a game that promises intense combat, reactive dialogue, and a complicated political landscape to solve. Henry has come a long way from his childhood in a small village, the Warhorse team revealed - rather than focusing on the baronies and local lords of the firstKingdom Come Deliverance,Henry will be solving “the problems of kings.”

Overall,Kingdom Come Deliverance 2’smap will be roughly twice the sizeof the first game’s. It will feature over 5 hours of cutscenes, historically accurate combat including crossbows and early firearms in addition to melee weapons, a gorgeous musical score composed by Jan Valta, and more. And, of course, there will definitely be a photo mode that lets players snap records of their epic adventures in this beautiful medieval world.
