The game has featured many different killers since its launch in 2016, and this consists of original killers created especially for the game and also iconic ones like Ghost Face and The Shape (a.k.a Michael Myers). However, a movie version would probably need to veer towards just including the original killers from the game. This is due to potential licensing issues with other studios over their famousiconic killers. Despite this, theDead By Daylightmovie sounds like a great idea, and fans can’t wait to see which killers turn up to terrorize the victims.

The Nurse

Chapter 1 ofDead By Daylightwas called The Last Breath, and it featured the introduction of Sally Smithson, (a.k.a The Nurse), a crazy creature who kills without a second thought, and a true creepy design to make fans' skin crawl.

She’s a must-have for the movie version as she is one of the original andbest killersin the franchise. For this movie to succeed, it needs to go back to its roots and feature the killers who made the game the success it is today.

The Dredge

Every great horror movie features a killer who is adept at inflicting the ultimate suffering on their victims, and The Dredge is the perfect example of this.

His powers cause absolute devastation, and he would be a great cinematic presence in the movie version. He first appears in Chapter 24 and has been a mainstay of theasymmetrical horror gameever since.

The Singularity

The idea ofEvil Artificial Intelligencetaking over the world is a very real fear for some people.Dead By Daylighthas caught onto this fear with the introduction of the evil android, The Singularity in this year’s Chapter 28 entry, titled End Transmission.

He is relentless as he moves across the map, plowing down victims in his path. He is also able to teleport next to a victim, which is absolutely frightening. He would be a very interesting killer to see on the big screen in the movie version.

The Skull Merchant

The Skull Merchant is a brutal killer who uses drones to detect her victims and kill them off, making her a true cunning and tactical killer.

The killer originated from a Japanese-Brazilian businesswoman called Adriana Imai who goes on a nasty killing spree, picking off CEOs of companies, so she can gain a profit. She has the potential to feature significantly within the overall story of a movie version, albeit not the main focus of the narrative.

The Hillbilly

Before the iconicLeatherface ofTexas Chain Saw Massacrefameappeared under the pseudonym of The Cannibal inDead By Daylight, the original chainsaw-thrashing killer was The Hillbilly.

He speeds through the map, using his chainsaw, and will kill survivors in one fell swoop. It’s unclear what direction the movie will take, but it would be surprising if it didn’t involve this Leatherface inspired killer.

The Legion

Every horror movie needs a superb piece of music for the chase scenes, and The Legion possesses the best chase music in the whole game, even if it almost guarantees the death of survivors.

The game lasts forever thanks to the perks they have in their locker, and eventhe best Survivorsdon’t have an easy time when they come up against them. This is why they must feature in the movie version, even if it is just for a memorable short cameo.

The Doctor

Getting electrocuted is a horrible way to be tortured in a video game, and that’s exactly what happens when The Doctor appears inDead By Daylight. The Doctor thrives off of torture and the fading grip of sanity that his victims hold.

This form of torture increases the survivors' levels of insanity, tipping them over the edge, and leaving them unable to interact with anyone. If the movie takes the route of being a psychological horror, The Doctor must feature as a main killer in it. Even if opts for a full-on slasher movie, his appearance would shake things up a bit for the victims.

The Huntress

Hatchets and horror movies go together like peanut butter and jelly, and The Huntress likes firing hatchets at any victim she comes across, whilst creepily humming unnerving lullabies.

She doesn’t move very fast, but her lack of pace is made up for withher precision from a distance. It would be very exciting to see her on the big screen, especially since she is regarded as a fan favorite in both terms of lore and design.

The Clown

Clowns have always been a scary prospect on the big screen, from Pennywise to the Joker, Hollywood loves them, and fans of the horror genre love to hate them. There’s a reason not many kids enjoy a trip to the circus these days.

Clowns represent the greatest fear of all for many, and The Clown inDead By Daylightis potentially the scariest of them all. He goes around throwing toxins at victims and generally being a menace to society. It would be fun to see him bring chaos to a big-screen version of the game.

The Deathslinger

There’s a certain simplicity aboutThe Deathslingerthat would translate well in aDead by Daylightmovie. He essentially goes around with a gun, shooting victims dead. Who doesn’t love a killer cowboy?

By no means is he the strongest killer in the franchise, but he’s an effective one and a fan favorite. His original name was Caleb Quinn, and he morphed into a killer when his employer took credit for his inventions. The movie will require three-dimensional killers if it is to succeed, and this character falls into that category.
