There are five side quests for players to tackle in Chapter 2 ofFinal Fantasy 7 Rebirth, one of which is called A Rare Card Lost. It’s one of several side quests that are geared around Queen’s Blood: an exciting card-based mini-game that’s not too dissimilar toTriple Triad and Tetra MasterfromFinal Fantasy 8andFinal Fantasy 9respectively.
Players will be able to start A Rare Card Lost by speaking with the bartender in Kalm once they’ve unlocked fast travel inFinal Fantasy 7 Rebirth. To complete it, they’ll need to retrieve a rare Queen’s Blood card that he lost to one of the other townspeople, though getting it back for him ends up being far trickier than it has any right to be.

How to Complete the A Rare Card Lost Side Quest in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth
Before players can trigger A Rare Card Lost, they’ll first need to check the bulletin board in Kalm. After accepting the job, they should make their way to the Rusty Arrow and speak with Vash, who’ll mention that he lost a rare card to one of the workers at the nearby clocktower. Before players can confront Virgil, though, they’ll need to beat Vash in a game of Queen’s Blood to prove they’re worthy, though this should be pretty easy for those who know what they’re doing.
After beating Vash, players will then need to beat Virgil, who can be found to the right of the clock tower and is a bit more skilled than the unlucky bartender. If players are having trouble beating him, they can buy a few packs of cards from the item vendor in Kalm or beat some of the town’s other Queen’s Blood players to flesh out their deck a little more. Sadly, even after beating Virgil, players still won’t get the card, with Virgil revealing that he sold it to a card collector to the northeast of Kalm.

Luckily, Thorin’s shop isn’t too far away, especially if playersfast travel to the Air-Raid Shelterthat they used to escape from Shinra earlier on and then ride their Chocobo in the direction of the quest marker. Thorin is a lot more skilled than the previous two Queen’s Blood players, but as long as players play their cards right, they should be able to beat him relatively easily. If not, he has a few decent cards for sale that can make beating him a lot simpler, though these are far from cheap.
After beating Thorin, he’ll hand over the Chocobo & Moogle card, which players can then return to Vash at the Rusty Arrow. However, given his poor run of form, he decides that it would be better if Cloud and the party hang onto his prized possession for a while. In addition toCard 107: Chocobo & Moogleand a free cocktail, players will also receive10 party EXP,600 EXP, and adeepened relationship with Tifaas their rewards for completing the A Rare Card Lostside quest inFinal Fantasy 7 Rebirth.
