The Oseram tribe is one most players are likely very familiar with because its members are found everywhere. Aloy also becomes close friends with a few Oseram, including Erend, Delah, and Boomer. The tribe is good with metal, and they love making weapons, which is why they may be vital allies inAloy’s upcoming battle against Nemesis.
The extinction signal players learn about inHorizon Zero Dawnwas sent by Nemesis, and the AI plans to finish off what it started. Aloy will need everything at her disposal to protect humanity against this enemy, and the Oseram aren’t the only tribe that will be of use. The Oseram Tribe Explained
One of the tribes Aloy spends the most time with is the Oseram tribe. TheOseram are introduced inHorizon Zero Dawn, and they can be recognized by their love for metalwork and their talent for crafting powerful weapons. When they tear down a machine for components, they use every part of it, as they would consider it a waste not to. Unlike other tribes, the Oseram aren’t too territorial, which is why they can be found all over the map and even in the Forbidden West. They also love drinking.
Like most other tribes, theOseram were affected by the bloody Red Raidsenacted by the massive Carja tribe. During the invasion, many Oseram were killed or enslaved. Things changed when Avad attempted to bring peace to the Sundom. Aided by Oseram like Ersa and Erend, Avad led the Battle of Meridian and eventually became the Sun-King. Because of the role the Oseram played in the liberation of Meridian, the Oseram are always welcome in the Sundom, and it is not rare to find them milling about and working in Oseram territory. The Oseram often cross the boundaries of other tribes without much concern. Nevertheless, they aren’t particularly aggressive, and they aren’t known to attack other tribes.

The Oseram Tribe and Nemesis
InHorizon Forbidden West,Aloy finds herself up against the Far Zenith, a group of elites who fled from Earth to escape the Faro Plague. Although their Sirius colony provided them with a paradise for many years, their home was destroyed by Nemesis, an AI of their own creation. Although Aloy defeats the Far Zenith, she learns that Nemesis is on its way to Earth, and it wants nothing more than to destroy all humans. It is not yet known what form this terrible enemy will take and how it will enact its attack, but it is clear that it will take everything Aloy has to defeat it.
To take on Nemesis, Aloy will need weapons, and the Oseram could be of great help on this front. Their metalwork and inventiveness are perfect for crafting new weapons geared to take on Nemesis' unique threat. Though the Oseram are plentiful, it may be difficult to rally them together in awar against Nemesisbecause they are spread all over. Nevertheless, if Aloy can manage this, the tribe would prove to be extremely valuable, as the Oseram are very loyal and valiant warriors. This is seen with Erend, who is Aloy’s good friend and has frequently risked his life fighting alongside her.
