The Forbidden Forest is one of the first Regions players will get the chance to explore inHogwarts Legacy. It’s an early to mid-game area where a variety of enemies can be seen scattered around the Region, especially spiders of all kinds.
Other than the variety of enemies, protagonists can also find many exciting features such as Field Guide Pages, Ancient Magic spots, and Treasure Vaults. The latter resembles mini-dungeons where players have to use their wits and skills to solve numerous puzzles inHogwarts Legacy. The skill part obviously involves learning some handy spells like Accio, Depulso, and Wingardium Leviosa. Even learning Alohomora will help players while exploring the Treasure Vaults in the Forbidden Forest.

Forbidden Forest Treasure Vaults And How To Open Them In Hogwarts Legacy
Unlike the bigger Regions such as Marunweem Lake, the Forbidden Forest only possesses four Treasure Vaults.One of the four puzzlesinvolves an enchanted cube; players need to guide this cube back to its place and cast the appropriate spell to solve the puzzle and unlock the Treasure Vault’s entrance.
Treasure Vault #1
Head east from the Jackdaw’s Tomb Floo Flame to find the first Treasure Vault. Eventually, players should find a small spider’s lair near the entrance.
Inside the cave, multiple floating cauldrons can be seen circling a fire pit. Three of these cauldrons, however, are unlit. Aim at them and use anyfire spelllike Incendio, Confringo, or Bombarda to light the cauldrons and claim the chest.
Treasure Vault #2
Now, travel to the West Forbidden Forest Floo Flame and walk west to see the Treasure Vault on top of the hill. Open the gate usingDepulsoorAccioand head inside the cave.
Similar to the previous puzzle, protagonists need to aim at the three unlit cauldrons and ignite themusing anyfire spellinHogwarts Legacy. Shortly after, a treasure chest will fall from above as a reward.
Treasure Vault #3
Teleport back to the West Forbidden Forest waypoint, but this time, go northeast to reach the thirdTreasure Vault inHogwarts Legacy. It’s impossible to enter the dungeon unless players retrieve an enchanted cube and guide it back to its place. Said cube can be found northwest of the platform.
UseWingardium Leviosato levitate it back then castLeviosoto open the vault’s entrance. Go inside and claim the treasure chest.
Treasure Vault #4
The last Treasure Vault in the Forbidden Forest is northwest of the Upper Hogsfield Floo Flame. Once the student is hovering above the vault’s location, keep flying down to find the entrance.
Unlock the door usingAlohomora I, which doesn’t requirecollecting any Demiguise Statues inHogwarts Legacy. Inside, players can collect the treasure chest and a small pouch of Galleons.
