With this rare item, Melinoe can upgrade tools or anArcana Card, add more Shrines of Hermes to the surface, or gain access to Warding Circles, but this resource is not easy to obtain. Like Cattails, Mandrake does not grow in the open world, so the only way to get it is to grow it yourself.
Players must make plenty of runs before accessing soil plots, unlocking the right tool, and finding the proper seeds. Eventually, Mandrake seeds are only found in the second surface region, and this guide is here to help you along the way.

As stated in the intro, the only way to get Mandrake inHades 2is to grow it by first collecting seeds. To accomplish this, you must go to theRift of Thessaly, the second surface location, and useSilver Spadeto get the seeds from the digging sites. However, here are all the key steps that will lead you to the desired seeds:
Digging sites appear randomly anywhere in the location, so be careful not to miss the seeds.

After collecting some seeds, you need to prepare soil plots in which the seeds can grow. You can collect just one yellowMoly flowerin the Erebus expanse to unlock theFlourishing SoilIncantation to get the first two soil plots. Additionally, collecting 3 Lotus — or 1 Wheat and 1Garlic— can unlock Rich Soil and Verdant Soil Incantations to get 4 more soil plots.
Your small vegetable garden is in the Crossroads area to the right of theIncantations Cauldronand Odysseus. So, sow the seeds andcomplete 17 encountersbefore your Mandrake matures.

Due to its properties, Mandrake’s use inHades 2is quite extensive. First, you’re able to spend three Mandrake Roots and five Moon Dust to upgrade theOrigination Arcana Cardand increase Melinoe’s damage. Also, using Mandrake and some Bronze, you can improve your Silver Spade. Or you can sell this plant for 12 Bones apiece to theWretched Broker.
