InGrand Theft Auto Online, making money and gaining RP is everything. For players wanting to knowhow to make money fast inGTA Online, the addition of shipwrecks may almost seem too good to be true. In August of 2021, Rockstar added shipwrecks as a reoccurring collectible inGTA Onlineand finding one can be extremely profitable. This is because treasure chests can be found near them, which will reward the player with $20,000 and 2,000 RP. Collecting at least seven will also unlock the Frontier pirate outfit.

The catch? The location of the shipwreck changes every 24 hours, appearing in one of thirty possible locations across the game’s map, which, asGTA Onlineplayers will already know, is one ofthe largest video game maps around. Knowing exactly where to look should make the process of searching for shipwrecks much easier for players.
Every Shipwreck Location in Grand Theft Auto Online
As mentioned above, shipwrecks can appear in one of thirty locations across the map on the coastline or bordering a body of water. These locations will be listed below.
Elysian Island
The first possible location to find a shipwreck is on Elysian Island, near the Maze Bank Arena, right next to the Autopia Parkway.
Los Santos International Airport
There are two places where shipwrecks can appear atLos Santos International Airport. The first is at the northeastern corner, right around Devin Weston’s hangar.
The second can be found over at the southwestern corner.
Vespucci Beach
At Vespucci beach, the shipwreck can be found at the east end. It can be seen next to the Puerto Del Sol Marina.
Del Pierro Pier
The next possible location for a shipwreck is located directly under Del Pierro Pier.
Del Pierro Beach
At Del Pierro Beach, players should look around the Pipeline Inn, close to the western end of the beach to find another potential shipwreck location.

Chumash
There are two shipwreck locations in Chumash. The first is north of Tahir Javan’s house. To find it, players should look around the beachfront just off of Ineseno Road.
The second is at the north end of Barbareno Road, just north of the Chumash Historic Family Pier.
Lago Zancudo
There are also two possible places for players to look in Lago Zancudo. At the south shore of the Zancudo River, the shipwreck should be parallel to the junction connecting Routes 1 and 68.
The next location is southeast ofFort Zancudoright next to a jetty.
Zancudo River
North of the Zancudo River, the next potential shipwreck location is downstream from Ortega’s trailer, southwest of the Alamo Sea.
North Chumash
At the mouth of Cassidy Creek, players should look along the southern shore. There should be a large rock on the beach, which is where the shipwreck will be.
Paleto Cove
The shipwreck in Paleto Cove can be found north of the Sonar Collections Dock over on the narrow strip of land.
Paleto Bay
There are three shipwreck locations in Paleto Bay. Towards the south of Paleto Bay State Beach, the first shipwreck location is on the northern side of the peninsula.
The second is at North Point on the eastern shore, facing Procopio Beach. It’s right next to Paleto Forest, so trees may be hiding the shipwreck.
The third potentialGTA 5shipwreck location is between Paleto Bay and Procopio Beach. Near North Point, players should find a broken wooden fence near the shipwreck location.

Procopio Beach
This shipwreck location is almost directly north of a small loop road. The location can be found on a small beach near the Procopio Bus Stop.
Pacific Ocean
Along the coastline of Mount Gordo, a shipwreck can be found near the pacific ocean, just east of Procopio Beach.
Another location can be found in this area, just north of El Gordo Lighthouse. A small patch of sand sits across from a small island, where the shipwreck will appear. These locations aren’t near any roads, so a helicopter or boat may be necessary to reach them.
Cape Catfish
There are two shipwreck locations atCape Catfish. The first is just south of the El Gordo Lighthouse in a small area where the water flows slightly inland, just off of El Gordo Drive.
The second area is south of the jetty below the cliff.
San Chianski Mountain Range
ThreeGTA 5shipwreck locations can be found in the San Chianski Mountain Range, on the eastern coast of San Andreas. The first is located southeast of the Humane Labs and Research.
The second is also near the Humane Labs and Research, located south of the labs and north of Coveted Cove.
The third can be found north of the Palmer-Taylor Power Station.
Tataviam Mountains
There are two places to look for shipwrecks in theTataviam Mountains. The first is south of the Palmer-Taylor Power Station.
The second area to search is east of the Tataviam Truckstop.
Palomino Highlands
At Palomino Highlands, there are three possible locations forGTA Onlineshipwrecks to be hiding. The first is southeast of the NOOSE headquarters. There, players will find a large rock with a hole underneath. The shipwreck will be on the south side of the hole.
The second is located on a small island just off the coast of Palomino Highlands, at the southeastern tip.
The third is at the east end of the beach, located just southeast of El Burro Boulevard.
Cypress Flats
Last but not least, the last potentialGTA Onlineshipwreck location will be in Cypress Flats, just south of the Elysian Freeway Bridge.
