Grand Theft Auto 5has been out for nearly a decade now, first releasing on PS3 and Xbox 360 before making its way to PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. And nowGrand Theft Auto5is set to be re-released yet again, with the landmark game releasing later this year for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X. Rockstar Games has kept mostly quiet about what fans can expect from the next-gen version ofGrand Theft Auto 5, but some new details have come thanks to dataminers.
As reported by user TezFunz2, dataminer alloc8or has dug through thelatestGrand Theft Auto Onlineupdateand has found some clues as to whatGrand Theft Auto 5on PS5 and Xbox Series X will entail. According to their findings, it seems likely that Rockstar Games will allowGrand Theft Auto 5players to transfer their single-player saves from the current-gen versions of the game to the next-gen versions. This would be in stark contrast to how the PS4 and Xbox One ports were handled, as they didn’t allow SP save transfers.
