A newGenshin Impactchart shows the waiting list for the game’s five-star characters. The game’s roster can be split into two types of characters: five-star and four-star units. Five-star characters are much harder to obtain, and they are usually the focal point of every new update.

EveryGenshin Impactupdate is divided into two separate banner cycles, each of which features one or two five-star characters and three four-star characters. The ongoing Dance of Lotuslight banner features the famous Zubayr theater star named Nilou.

Reddit user RapidFresh has shared an interesting list that ranks characters by how many updates they have missed. At the top of the list with nine skipped updates is the popular Pyro polearm user Hu Tao. The 77th Director of the Wangsheng Funeral Parlor is known for the high DPS potential she can have if surrounded by the right team composition. There is no official information about her re-run asthe official live stream forGenshin Impactupdate 3.2confirmed that she won’t be a part of the next update. She has a unique playstyle that includes a couple of animation cancel mechanics, which could take some time to get used to.

A big part of the community doesn’t seem too happy about the fact thatGenshin Impacthas not introduced a new Pyro characterfor over a year now with Thoma being the last addition. Even though Pyro was considered probably the strongest element back when the game was released in 2020, the meta has heavily shifted since then, especially with the recent addition of the new Dendro element, which introduced a number of new elemental reactions.

The second character on the list is the captain of the Reconnaissance Company, the Cryo claymore user Eula. Just like Hu Tao, Eula is considered one of thebest DPS units inGenshin Impactwith a strong focus on dealing tons of Physical damage. This Mondstadt character still holds the record for dealing the highest recorded damage number in the game. Her last banner appearance was in update 2.2 in which she was placed alongside the Geo user Albedo.

Shenhe is another Cryo user who is yet to receive her first re-run yet after being introduced back inGenshin Impactupdate 2.4. Unlike the two previous characters, she fills the support role for most types of team composition. In order to use Shenhe to her full potential, players should surround her with characters that share the same element.

Genshin Impactis now available on Mobile, PC, PS4, and PS5. A Switch version is in development.
