Epic Games has finally released the story trailer for the upcoming season, titled “Resistance.” The new trailer reveals a bunch of new exciting content that will be available in the new season. The trailer also confirms the rumor that Doctor Strange will be added to the extended list of Marvel-based Battle Pass characters, along with several others, including Iron Man and Miles Morales' uncle, Prowler. Both of these characters joinFortnite’sextended list of crossover characters from the Marvel Universe. These include Mary Jane, Spider-Man, and Green Goblin, besidesGambit and Rogue fromX-Men.
Furthermore, the trailer reveals several other characters like Black Widow, Lara Croft, and members of the Seven. Besides these,Fortnitecharacters like Dr. Slone and Agent Jones were also seen. All of these characters were engaged in jaw-dropping combat with each other using parkour techniques. In addition to new characters, the trailer also showcased various new vehicles and weapons, including tanks, buses, planes, and many more. Flying battle buses propelled by hot air balloons deserve a special mention.
Epic Games is famous for adding random characters, fictional or real, to the ever-expandingFortniteroster. Ironically, the season is aptly named “Resistance” as it comes at the unfortunate time of the ongoing Russo-Ukraine military conflict. Epic Games stands with Ukraine as it provides humanitarian relief fromFortniteproceeds to the Ukrainians. In addition,Epic has also suspended commerce in Russia, but in a slightly different way than others. Epic has decided to stop business in Russia, but it’ll continue to allow access to its products to Russian people.
