Final Fantasy 14’sDawntrailexpansion adds a ton of new things to the game. However, it also keeps some of the older traditions of the game alive. For example, players will need to find Aether Currents in order tounlock flying in the expansion.
Players need to find all the Aether Currents in a region in order to unlock flying in that region. Thankfully, finding those Aether Currents is too difficult,especially with the Aether Compass. Here’s a guide to finding the Aether Currents in every zone of the game.
Heritage Found Aether Currents
Here is a map depicting the 10 locations of Aether Currents within Heritage Found. Additionally, several can be found via quests, which are shown below. Once they are all obtained, flying will be unlocked for the zone, and players can move on to their next great adventure within the game.
