Fallout: New Vegas wasfirst released in 2010, though it would be a while before fans came to appreciate it. The game was filled with bugs upon release, many of which were game-breaking. Many of them would be attributed to a short turnaround time for the game, with it generally agreed that development was completed in just 18 months. With time the game was patched to a much better state, becoming one of the most in-depth RPGs ever made.Fallout: New Vegasnow stands as the gold standard for games looking to create a branching story with consequences for each action the player takes. To this day, fans continue to clamor for aFallout: New Vegasremake, although any rumors so far have been unsubstantiated.

At this point, the original game’s engine is extremely dated, so not even thebestFallout: New Vegasgraphics modcould show Goodsprings in as much detail as seen in this video.
YouTuber Mojo Swoptops is making a habit of recreating iconic locations from video games after they recently recreatedSkyrim’s Falkreath inFar Cry 5. The fan claims to have spent six hours on the creation, which is extremely impressive for the level of detail on display in the video. In the description, Mojo Swoptops claims to have done several walkthroughs of the town, asFar Cry 5’s dynamic wildlife allowed for unplanned interesting moments to happen on camera.
Fan creations coming to fruition in 2023 displays the level of reverence held forFallout: New Vegasover twelve years after its release. Fans have hadFallout 4andFallout 76since the release ofFallout: New Vegas, although both failed to live up to Obsidian Entertainment’s earlier effort. With Obsidian currently focused onThe Outer Worlds 2, and Bethesda preoccupied withStarfieldandThe Elder Scrolls 6, it’s unlikely fans will see aFalloutgame anytime soon. PerhapsMicrosoft’s acquisition of Bethesdawill speed the process along, as the company looks for a quicker return on investment.
