Final Fantasyis an incredibly famousJRPGfranchise. Withcharacters that have been beloved by fans all over the world, it is no surprise that there are over 10 entries within the series. 9Cait Sith: Ravenclaw
Cait Sithis a robotic cat that is controlled by Reeve Tuesti, a key member of the Shinra Corporation. The character tends to be playful but can be a bit of a coward from time to time. Nonetheless, since this is Reeve, he tends to hold a lot of regret for the Shinra Cooperation and directly opposes Avalanche. But eventually, he has a change of heart after being with them for so long.

This makes Cait Sith a decent candidate for the Ravenclaw house. Ravenclaws are known to be very diligent people, intelligent while also being out of the social norm at times. Even though Cait Sith is a member of Shinra, he is far different than any of them. Not to mention he is incredibly intelligent thanks to knowing what they are like from within and legitimately caring about others.
8Yuffie Kisaragi: Gryffindor
Yuffie Kisaragiis the youngest member of the Avalanche team. She is pretty loud as a character and will always try her best to steal any materia she’s got an eye on. Not only that, but she can be quite rebellious whether it’s from the tradition of her homeland or even to her friends.
This makes her fit well in both Ravenclaw but more specifically Gryffindor, as they are known for their arrogance and even recklessness. With some even thinking that Gryffindor’s don’t care much for the rules.
7Vincent Valentine: Slytherin
Vincent Valentineis one of the most tragic characters in the game.Originally a Turkwho was tasked to supervise the Jenova project in Nibelhiem, he was eventually captured and experimented on by Hojo.
Vincent Valentine is a solemn character who tends to brood over his past experiences for good reason, but when he has something he needs to say, he ensures it is heard. Similarly, the Slytherin house is known to weigh every option possible while acting accordingly, with love being a motivator for some. This is clear in the actions of Vincent Valentine with Lucrecia.
6Cid Highwind: Gryffindor
Cid Highwindis a loudmouth who is direct with his actions. A man who dreamed to go up in space, he is nonetheless kind-hearted to those he cares about and is willing to take charge when Cloud Strife was out of the picture.
This strong drive is an aspect that is found deep with the Gryffindor house, as they are known for their immense bravery and unwillingness to give up. They are also short-tempered which Cid Highwind can be sometimes.
5Red XIII: Gryffindor
Red XIII is a talking lion-like creature who holds a strong sense of values. His personality is often humble, as he speaks politely to his friends, while also holding honor to a high degree. Which is why he has a hard time reconciling with his father, someone he deemed as cowardly.
This trait of honor and chivalry are values that are held by Gryffindor. As they also hold those traits to a high degree while also acting brash at times. Red XIII can show these through his feral nature.
4Aerith Gainsborough: Ravenclaw
Aerith Gainsborough is the sweet flower girl that players get introduced to early in the game. With a strong connection to the planet, as she is the last of the ancients, she is a soothing and patient person.
This also makes her quite hard-working and dedicated as she cares a lot for flowers, the world, and others as she is the team healer. These traits fit well with the Ravenclaw as they are also hardworking and have a curiosity with the world around them. While paying attention to it too.
3Barret Wallace: Gryffindor
Barret Wallaceis the leader of Avalanche and is full of anger against Shinra. After having a tragic backstory with Shinra that resulted in a loss of his arm, he became vengeful and does everything in his power to stop them.
Whether that’s by blowing up a reactor or otherwise. However, deep inside his rough exterior is a kind heart who tries his best to care for those around him. All of these are strong traits for the Gryffindor house.
2Tifa Lockhart: Hufflepuff
Tifa Lockhartis the bar owner for Seventh Heaven in the Sector 7 slums. She is a kind-hearted soul who tries to be rational with every situation. All while being an incredibly powerful martial artist who can stand up to the likes of Sephiroth.

These traits are reminiscent of the Hufflepuff house. While they don’t boast a lot about their abilities, they tend to be very friendly and rational people who also have a strong moral compass. They also have a lot of patience and accept everyone, which is a trait Tifa Lockhart holds most strongly.
1Cloud Strife: Slytherin
Cloud Strifeis the protagonist ofFinal Fantasy 7and he is also one of the most complicated characters in the franchise. Acting as a strong leader, his reasoning for trying to join Soldier is because he wanted to impress Tifa Lockhart and get stronger. Not only that but beneath his cold exterior is a character who constantly juggles and thinks about his past.
