One fan of the title found out that their mom, who knew nothing aboutElden Ring, unknowingly acquired an art piece featuring the game’s beloved lunar princess.
In a post on theElden Ringsubreddit, user comfyawkward revealed that their mother bought a poster of Ranni the Witch online even though the latter had zero knowledge of the game. The poster featured a painting of Ranni by Christian Angel, an artist who has also drawn one ofElden Ring’s hardest bosses, Malenia the Blade of Miquella. Comfyawkward told community members that their mom now knows whatElden Ringis and has become a fan of Malenia and another boss, Rykard. The Reddit user added that the painting of Ranni is now set to be framed and hung in their mother’s living room.

One artist, gravitydusty, imagined apast version of Ranni the Witchthat provided fans with a glimpse of what the royal might have looked like before her original body was destroyed. This iteration of Ranni had clothes that were similar to the clothes worn by Queen Rennala, Ranni’s mother and the final boss of the Raya Lucaria Academy dungeon.
Ranni’sElden Ringquestlineis one of the game’s longest, but it leads to what many consider to be the best ending in the title. This path also rewards players with the Dark Moon Greatsword, one of Elden Ring’s very few legendary weapons.
The upcoming major expansion forElden Ring, which is slated to be released on June 21, is expected to provide fans with a host of new content. ThisShadow of the Erdtree DLC will introduce new enemiesand difficulty modes, among other things. However, FromSoftware president Hidetaka Miyazaki has confirmed that this will be the sole expansion forElden Ring.
