With this in mind, it should come as no surprise that the Doc has been playing a lot ofCall of Duty: Vanguardsince release. Despitethe Doc’s negative opinion of the gameon launch day, he has begun to enjoy the first-person shooter, especially after learning about the power of aim assist.

During a recent live stream, Dr Disrespect discovered how effective aim assist was inCall of Duty: Vanguard. Before the game came out last week, the Doc suspected that the feature would be powerful. As a result, he decided to play the first-person shooter on a controller instead of on a mouse and keyboard. While playing the game on stream, the streamer was stunned by the strength of the feature. He even claimed that it could be “the strongest aim assist of all time.”
As he fought on the various maps inCall of Duty: Vanguard, he commented on aim assist. “See that, see my aim assist? I can feel that man,” he said. As he played the game, the streamer felt that it was easier to land shots due to the overpowered feature. Since the game was released, he has put together some impressive performances while using a controller. He even had a 100-bomb on the Das Haus map. This success led the Doc to declare that the game had the strongest aim assist of all theinstallments in theCall of Dutyseries.
As a result of his gameplay testing, the Doc believed that more people should switch to a controller to compete at a higher level. “It might be the case that everyone is swapping to controllers soon,” he said. According to the Doc, most pros were already playing on a controller during tournaments.
This decision by Dr Disrespect to use a controller marks a stark contrast to hisprevious opinions on the aim assist debate. It will be interesting to see if the Doc decides to use a controller for future games, such asHalo Infinite. However, given the fun he seems to be having playingCall of Duty: Vanguardon a controller, it appears that he will be sticking with World War 2 shooter for the foreseeable future.
