With the latest update inDisney Dreamlight Valley, players have a couple of new characters that they can bring back to Dreamlight Valley. The first is Nala, who is unlocked by completing the Realm Quest ‘Eyes in the Dark’. Simba is the second character that players can unlock in Update 4.

Unlike some characters in the original release ofDisney Dreamlight Valley, there aren’t any time-consuming requirements for starting the quest that unlocks Simba. In fact, players can start it as soon as they’ve brought Nala back to the village. This guide will show how to complete the Realm Quest ‘Stars to Guide Us’.

Go to the Lion King Realm

After starting this quest, go to the castle and head up the stairs toward the door for the Lion King Realm. Go inside and find Simba in the jungle. After talking to him, follow Simba deeper into the jungle back toward the spot where he was first found in the previous quest. Talk to Simba again and he will reflect on his desire to see the stars one last time to get guidance from his father. Unfortunately, the sky has been cloudy for some time and the stars can’t be seen.

Speak with Merlin

As is often the case inDisney Dreamlight Valley, the best way tosolve a magic problemis by speaking with Merlin. Merlin suggests creating something from Simba’s past and then use magic to clear the skies.

Craft Rafiki’s Walking Stick

First, players will have to gather the materials needed to make Rafiki’s Staff. To build it, gather 5 Softwood, craft 5 Fiber, and 2 Purified Night Shards. Once Rafiki’s Walking Stick has been successfully crafted, return to the Lion King Realm. Talk to Simba and then place Rafiki’s Walking Stick onto the rock next to Simba. After a brief cutscene, the clouds will disappear.

Go to the Dried-Up Oasis

Being able to see the stars once again, Simba gains inspiration and direction. He decides that he wants to leave the realm a better place than he found it. Follow Simba to the dried-up oasis. Simba works on finding a way to bring water back to the oasis. In the meantime, players must find seeds and plant them in the oasis. The three different kinds of seeds are Jungle Fern Seeds, Waterfall Plant Seeds, and Clearing Tree Seeds.

Scattered across the jungle, there are three different plants that can bedug up with the Royal Shovel. They are scattered all over the jungle, so players will have to do a thorough search. The plants sparkle, so it will be fairly easy to spot them.

Plant the Seeds

After retrieving all the seeds, speak with Simba again. The quest will update, and the next step is to plant the seeds around the oasis. Just like with gardening, dig holes for the seeds and then plant them.

Talk to Simba andthen use the pickaxeon the nearby rock to bring water back to the oasis. With the oasis restored, Simba feels ready to leave and explore Dreamlight Valley with Nala. Since Pride Rock is in Dreamlight Valley, players will not need to build Simba a home. This quest ends once players talk to Simba in Dreamlight Valley.
