With the latest update, The Lucky Dragon, Disney Dreamlight Valley brings inexciting characters and quests.The game now features Mulan’s realm, where you’re able to meet the brave warrior Mulan and her little dragon friend, Mushu.
As you increase your friendship with Mulan, you unlock her friendship quests. When you reach friendship level 10, you’re able to start the Training Games quest. Interestingly, there are three tasks you need to complete to finish it, just likeThe Defender’s Training questyou did earlier. Below, we’ll give you step-by-step instructions to complete the Training Games quest inDisney Dreamlight Valley.
How to Complete Training Games in Disney Dreamlight Valley
Talk to Mulan and Mother Gothel
To begin the quest, you should speak to Mulan, who will reveal that she has challenged Mother Gothel to a capture the flag game to see if working as a team is better than working alone. Furthermore, she wants you on her team, and you agree.
Your next task is to tell Mother Gothel about it, who will ask you to make four red-colored flags and bring them to Fairy Godmother, who will judge the game.
Collect Materials and Craft Flags
Here are the materials you need to collect to make these flags:
You can craft Fabric by combining five pieces of cotton at the Crafting Station. Go to Goofy’s Stall in the Sunlit Plateau and buy Cotton Seeds for 42 Star Coins each, plant, water, and then harvest them after 25 minutes. To access this biome, fans will need to spend 7,000 Dreamlight.
you may find Red Bromeliad flowers in the Sunlit Plateau as well, while the Blue Star Lilies are found in the Forest of Valor. To access this biome, you’ll need to spend 3,000 Dreamlight. Dry Wood can be collected from the following biomes:
Once you have all the required materials, go to a nearby Crafting Station and create Mini Flags. Give these flags to the Fairy Godmother, who will hide them in the valley. Now return to Mulan, who will ask you to help your three friends find their hidden flags. This will start three sub-quests.
Training Games: The Lioness Quest (Nala’s Flag Location)
In the first part, you team up with Nala. Talk to her to start the sub-quest. She’ll give you a clue that the flag is hidden in a place with salt, fish, and sand (Dazzle Beach.)
Go to the ocean and fish in the area withGolden Ripples. We found it near the Cursed Cave. Along with the ripples, you will also see a red flag on the water surface. Use yourRoyal Fishing Rodto catch it, which you can get by completing The Royal Tools quest. After catching the flag, give it to Nala to complete the sub-quest.
Training Games: The Space Ranger (Buzz Lightyear’s Flag Location)
In the next part,Buzz Lightyearis your quest buddy. Now, you have to help find his flag. To start, talk to Buzz Lightyear, who will share that according to his clue, the Mini Flag is kept in a place that is sunny and has trees and bones. It’s the Sunlit Plateau biome!
Go to the biome and look for ashiny spot on the ground near Wishing Well.Use your Royal Shovel to dig and find the mini red flag. Once you have the flag, give it to Buzz Lightyear to complete the second side quest.
Training Games: The Shapeshifter (Maui’s Flag Location)
In this part, you have to team up with Maui. Unlike the previous two characters, he has already found the flag, but it’s frozen. To thaw it out, you need to cook it with the following ingredients:
You can find Mint in the Frosted Heights biome. If you haven’t unlocked this biome yet, you’ll need to spend 10,000 Dreamlight. Once there, Mint can be simply picked from the ground. You only need one mint for the quest.
For Ginger, you may harvest it from the ground in theForgotten Lands biome. This is the most expensive biome in Disney Dreamlight Valley and requires 15,000 Dreamlight to unlock.
Carrots are vegetables that you can grow yourself. Visit Peaceful Meadow, where you canbuy Carrot Seeds from Goofy’s Stall for 10 Star Coins each. Plant these seeds, water them, and after 15 minutes, you can harvest them. And yes, verify to buy two seeds to get two carrots.
After collecting all the ingredients, go to a nearby Cooking Station, find the recipe for Maui’s Flag, and start cooking. Once it’s ready, take the Mini Flag to Maui and give it to him to complete this sub-quest.
To wrap up the Training Games quest, return to Mulan. She’ll ask you to meet her at the Mystical Cave on Dazzle Beach. Follow her inside where she, Fairy Godmother, and Mother Gothel will be waiting for you. Once there, talk to Fairy Godmother, who will announce your team’s victory in the challenge. Lastly, talk to Mulan one final time to complete the quest.
