Digimon Survive’s second part catches up with Shuuji, Saki, and the Professor, showing what they’ve been up to since they were separated from Takuma and the rest of the group in the prologue and also introducing some new Partner Digimon.

In this second part ofDigimon Survive, players are also offered plenty of chances to recruit new Free Digimon to their team, including easy access to Gazimon, Numemon, Biyomon, and Betamon. The chapter also introduces some more Partner Digimon evolutions.

Digimon Survive_Walkthrough_Part 2_School Opening

Forest - Intro

Part 2 opens with Saki, Shuuji, and the Professor fleeing from monsters in the thick fog of the woods, encountering Lopmon and Floramon along the way. Floramon and Lopmon were also being chased by Gotsumon, and the Professor is downed by a fierce attack while defending Saki. The Professor tells Saki and Shuuji to leave him and run, and they reluctantly do so.

The School - Opening

Takuma wakes and heads outside for some air, running into Agumon outside the school building. Takuma recaps the events of the previous day withoccasional interjections from Agumon, and then the conversation turns to Takuma’s thoughts on other things. This presents the first choice of the chapter, which can boost a Karma stat based on the chosen option.

What’s happening here?

The next fight!

Wrathful +1

Afterward, Takuma and Agumon go to talk with the others about their plan. After saying good morning to the others, the discussion turns to who’s in charge, and then to the topic of rescue. Aoi makes a valid point, stating that there’s no sign of a search party. Ryo interjects with his depressing opinion that they’re all done for, and Minoru theorizes about time travel, parallel worlds, and superweapons, and seems weirdly excited about this adventure they’ve found themselves on.

More discussion on the topic of the monsters follows, but it doesn’t get them anywhere beyond Falcomon suggesting that this world is different from the one that Takuma, Aoi, Minoru, and Ryo came from. Falcomon also says that the school appeared suddenly one day, looking just as run down as it does now. Haru and Miyuki arrive shortly afterward, and the group heads inside to continue the conversation.

Digimon Survive_Walkthrough_Part 2_School 2F Corridor

Minoru takes the opportunity to bring up the fog, and Agumon claims that it’s incredibly dangerous and causes people to vanish without a trace. Minoru wonders if this could get them home, but risking it seems pretty reckless. The player is then given a choice of comments regarding the fog, with each potential response boosting a Karma stat.

Go right around it.

At this point, the group discusses finding food and where they should go next. Aoi asks Haru and Miyuki where they came from, but they just cryptically say “Over there” looking towards the door. Aoi, Minoru, and Ryo all have very different opinions on what to do next. Aoi wants to search the school for food and see if any other humans arrive, Ryo wants to sit tight and “wait it out,” and Minoru wants to head out towards the Shrine and look for the others.

Takuma wonders what he should do, and the game hands control to the player. Players can then speak to one of the three to give the impression of agreeing with their idea, which boosts affinity with that person.

School - Exploration

Takuma and Agumon set off to explore the school first, and the player is given the choice of where to go and who to speak with.

Free Battle

The School Free Battle location has been updated since Part 1, and it is now possible to encounterBetamon,Gazimon, orBiyomonhere. It’s a good idea to recruit as many of these as possible, but they appear in Free Battle areas throughout the rest of Part 2, so there’s plenty of time to do so.

Music Room

Agumon can be found in the Music Room at the school, where he’ll note that the “things in the ceiling” are broken. Essentially, he’s pointing out that the building doesn’t have any power.

School 2F Corridor

Aoi can be found in the Second Floor Corridor looking for food. She’s interrupted by the sound of running water, and a nearby Haru reveals that he was getting some water from the (very much functional) water faucet. The building’s plumbing is, apparently, fully functional. The player is given a dialog choice here.

Kinda weird, huh?

Digimon Survive_Walkthrough_Part 2_Minoru Woods

Try to be happy here.

Aoi Affinity Up!

Aoi will set off to keep looking for things like food and other useful stuff.

Classroom

Ryo can be found in the Classroom, seeing if there’s anywhere his phone can get a signal. He was prompted to do this when he got a garbled text, much like the one Takuma received in Part 1. Ryo also notices that the power levels on the phones aren’t decreasing at all, no matter how much time passes. Takuma is then prompted with a dialog choice.

Who were you calling?

Digimon Survive_Walkthrough_Part 2_Minoru Foraging

No Effect.

Ryo continues to get depressed by the situation, and Takuma heads out to continue exploring.

Woods near School

Minoru is in the Woods near the School, where he’s busied himself finding edible plants, fruits, and nuts. Takuma is quickly prompted with another dialog choice here.

What about the people?

Digimon Survive_Walkthrough_Part 2_Music Room Haru

That’s amazing!

Minoru Affinity Up!

Minoru then shifts focus to looking for other people, and Takuma is sent back to the map.

Classroom - Second Visit

After visiting each location once, a new event will appear in the Classroom, where the group will join up to share their findings. Between Minoru and Aoi’s discoveries, the group has plenty to eat and drink for the time being, and Takuma is presented with a dialog choice.

What is this place?

Digimon Survive_Walkthrough_Part 2_Aoi Cafeteria

Should be okay for now.

Takuma suggests looking around a little longer, and the game progresses to the first Free Action segment of the game.

RELATED:How To Get Every Route in Digimon Survive

School - Free Action

Free Action is a segment found in almost every part from now on in which Takuma has the opportunity to wander around and interact with other characters. This provides opportunities to gain more affinitywith characters and obtain additional items and resources, but players should note that interacting with characters, and visiting certain areas, uses up a move. Takuma only has a limited number of moves in each Free Action segment, and, when they run out, the story will automatically progress.

Visiting the School 2F Corridor will trigger a short scene where Takuma overhears someone singing and playing Piano in the music room. This does not take a move but causes Haru and Miyuki to appear in the Music Room.

digimon-survive-release

Old School

Minoru can be found outside the school with Falcomon and speaking to them will trigger a discussion about a plant Minoru has found that may or may not be edible. Minoru seems sure it is.

You know your stuff!

Despite Minoru’s confidence, Takuma asks Falcomon to keep him out of trouble all the same, and Minoru gives Takuma a “Speed Charge” item. This is a useful item that lets the equipped Digimon use the Speed Charge skill to increase their speed, allowing them to move earlier in the turn.

Talking to Agumon before leaving triggers a scene in which he attempts to imitate Minoru by eating a random plant off the ground. This additional dialog does not use up a move.

Corridor

Aoi can be found in the Corridor looking around for food. She hasn’t found anything yet and suggests that they keep looking, causing a dialog option to appear.

Is there food here?

Sure, you got it.

This leads to Aoi realizing that she hasn’t checked the kitchen for food yet. Oops. She and Labramon head off to remedy that. This causes Aoi and Labramon to appear in the Cafeteria.

Ryo and Kunemon are in the Classroom, where Kunemon is doing its best to get closer to Ryo, despite his fear of the caterpillar. Ryo thinks everyone here is out of their mind and quickly gets into an argument with Agumon. He states his general opinion that both Minoru and Aoi are being too optimistic about the situation.

Let’s stay positive.

Regardless of the chosen option, Ryo quickly gets into another argument with Agumon. It’s possible to speak to Ryo a second time immediately after to trigger a second conversation (costing another move).

In this second conversation, he reveals that he hasn’t connected with Kunemon the way Takuma, Aoi, and Minoru connected with their partners. He even calls Kunemon “Disgusting” which noticeably upsets Kunemon.

Can’t let that slide.

Regardless of the choice,Ryo can no longer be interacted with after this.

After triggering the event in the 2F hallway, entering the music room will take a move and trigger an event where Takuma finds Haru in the music room, revealing that he was the one playing the piano. He says that when he plays his Sister sings, leading Takuma to ask where Miyuki is. She promptly reveals herself to be right next to him, startling Takuma. Haru then stares at Takuma, providing players with an option.

Should I ask why?

Just stare back.

Haru will tell Takuma about a storage area at the back of the Gym where food might be found and wishes Takuma luck as they head out.

Speaking to Haru or Miyuki at this point will trigger a second conversation, which costs another move.

Takuma and Agumon will compliment Miyuki’s singing and then be offered another dialog choice.

When’d they get here?

Especially Miyuki

Miyuki will supply a “Speed Break” item afterward, which allows the equipped Digimon to reduce a target’s speed, causing them to act later in the turn order.

Cafeteria

After speaking to Aoi in the Hallway, she’ll appear in the Cafeteria. Speaking with her here will reveal that she hasn’t been able to find any food in the Cafeteria, after which, she’ll talk about checking outside.

I’ll look out for you.

Aoi will then receive a garbled text message just like Takuma did during Part 1. If Takuma has already spoken to Haru in the music room and found out about the storage in the Gym, Takuma will let her know about it.

Speaking to Agumon here will cost a move and lead to him uncovering three “Salve Pack” items, which he will pass to Takuma.

Gym

After speaking with Minoru outside he will appear in the Gym. Minoru has uncovered some more fascinating plants here, mostly mushrooms. Minoru isn’t sure if they’re edible though.

I’m guessing not?

Falcomon notes that these mushrooms are much loved by Digimon, but poisonous to humans, and Minoru hands the two “Giant Mushrooms” he found to Takuma.

Speaking to Agumon here will cost another moveand cause him to uncover two “Boost Seed” items, which he’ll again pass to Takuma.

School - The Story Continues

Takuma heads back towards the classroom at the end of the Free Action, and Aoi quickly calls everyone to the Gym. Takuma gathers the others and they enter the Gym to discover that Aoi has found a rather substantial supply of food in the back of the Gym. Much like the medical supplies, the emergency food is fresh and new despite the dilapidated state of the school itself. Minoru takes the plunge and quickly begins playing a prank at Aoi and Ryo’s expense. Takuma works this out nearly instantly and is presented with a choice of how to react.

Let me try, too!

A chewing out from Ryo and Aoi later, the group is relieved to have enough food for around half a year. Unfortunately, this leads to the slightly depressing discussion of how long the group might end up being stuck here.

Haru interrupts a discussion of what to do next by revealing his discovery of the Professor’s hat in the forest nearby, prompting the group to set off and look for him and the others. At this point, Takuma is given the option of how to handle Ryo’s reluctance.

Do what you want.

Leaving Haru and Miyuki behind in the relative safety of the School, the group sets off. The discussion of sticking together or splitting up comes next, providing players with yet another chance to gain a karma stat.

Groups of two?

School and Shrine - Exploration

An exploration phase now begins, allowing players to freely explore the areas around the Shrine and the Woods near the School.

Free Battles

The Free Battle at the school continues to offer players opportunities to encounter Betamon, Gazimon, and Biyomon. The Free Battle in the Shrine Area offers the same but also has a chance of allowing players to encounterNumemon, a Champion level Virus Digimon who can be a useful addition to the team in the long run due to its strong evolutions.

The Woods near the School are where Ryo and Kunemon are searching, and Kunemon is sticking close to Ryo to try and protect him. Speaking to Ryo allows Takuma the choice of teasing him or just leaving him be.

Ryo Affinity Up!

Spider Lily Forest

Minoru and Falcomon can be found at the Spider Lily Forest, where a suspicious thicket can also be investigated to get a “Learning Crystal.” This item gives bonus EXP to the equipped Digimon, making leveling up a bit easier.

Minoru is stressed out by their lack of progress, but Falcomon quickly calms him down, prompting Takuma to reflect on how close they are already.

Master and apprentice.

Brothers in arms.

Takuma leaves the area to them and heads off after this.

Woods by Shrine

Aoi can be found in the Woods by the Shrine, but she hasn’t had any luck finding the others either. Unfortunately, she keeps overthinking the situation and stressing herself out, so Takuma has to find a way to calm her down.

We’ll make it home!

Once she’s calmed down, Takuma heads off. Assuming players have also spoken to Minoru by this point, the story will progress.

Shrine - The Story Continues

The group regroups at the Shrine to plan their next move and players are offered a chance to gain more karma by choosing from three options.

Hungry, you think?

Really around here?

Luckily, Labramon picks up a scent, and Takuma uses the camera to scan the area, uncovering a mix of human and monster footprints leading away from the Shrine and towards the Inner Shrine. Within the Shrine they find the professor, injured on the ground and surrounded by Gazimon. The Gazimon discuss something called “Fangmon” and Minoru decides to go speak to them.

Leave it to him.

Unfortunately, the Gazimon pick a fight, and the group is forced into battle.

RELATED:Digimon Survive should be another subfranchise like World and Story

Inner Shrine - Battle

Falcomon takes a hit for Minoru, and Minoru returns the favor wanting to protect him. The desire for strength to protect fills Falcomon with energy, allowing him to evolve into Diatrymon.

Diatrymon is a Vaccine attribute Digimonand has vastly superior vertical movement and even more speed than Falcomon, but his new attack “Destruction Roar” is a special attack, which uses the lower of his two attack stats. On the plus side, it has a range of 3 spaces around him and has a low chance of increasing both of his attack stats by one rank.

This fight is an escort mission, though it’s fairly easy to circumvent this by just killing every enemy on the map, as there are only five, and they’re all fairly weak. Players should field Vaccine attribute Digimon like Agumon, Labramon, and Biyomon to take advantage of the Gazimon’s weaknesses and be sure to grab the chest directly ahead of the starting point for a Potency Crystal. Also, they should always keep one Digimon near the Professor to deal with incoming threats, as he will move closer to the escape point each turn, sometimes putting himself at risk in the process.

Once the fight is over, Fangmon will get called out by Falcomon, causing him to reveal himself briefly. He lets the group go in order to finish off “those two.”

The story then progresses with the group checking up on the injured Professor. After some initial panic about the Digimon, he regains his composure and the conversation quickly turns to the location of Shuuji and Saki. He leads the group to where he last saw them.

Forest Area - Exploration

Another exploration segment begins here, this time only including the Forest Area.

To begin with, players should head to the Spider Lily Forest and check the suspicious thicket to grab an “Energy Seed” which can be used to cure stat reductions.

Inner Shrine Ext.

If players visit the Inner Shrine Ext. area and check the suspicious thicket, they’ll be able to find three “Salve Packs” which can be used to heal multiple targets.

Shrine

Everyone has gathered at the Shrine. Speaking to Aoi here triggers a dialog choice about her help in the previous battle and can boost her affinity.

Just say thank you.

Speaking to Ryo also triggers a dialog choice where Takuma addresses his concerns.

I’ll agree with him.

Finally, speaking to the Professor will progress the story, with him struggling to keep moving despite his injuries so that they can find Shuuji and Saki.

We’re counting on you!

After the Professor is finished speaking, talking to Minoru will cause him to point out footprints.

Are they really there?

How did you find them?

He’ll explain that he saw them using the phone camera, prompting Takuma to try with his camera. Once this happens, players need to scan just to the right of Minoru to spot the footprints, then head to the Spider Lilly Forest to continue the story.

RELATED:Digimon Survive: All Negotiation Items (& How to Get Them)

Spider Lilly Forest - Visit 2

The Professor explains as the group arrives that he acted as a decoy to draw the monsters away from Saki and Shuuji and that they were aided by other friendly monsters.

I’m sure they’re fine.

Minoru quickly notices that there are several sets of prints here and Takuma can then use the camera to observe them on the left and right sides of the area. The Professor speculates that one of the sets of prints is a trap. The Footprints heading to the Woods by the Shrine are the correct set, butheading back to the Spider Lilly Forest right after leaving will trigger some additional encountersthat provide useful items.

When returning, Falcomon will spot Fangmon’s attempt to ambush the party and prevent it. Fangmon flees this time, but this encounter will enable bonus encounters with it throughout the rest of the chapter.

The Professor recognizes this area as where he got separated from Shuuji and Saki, triggering a dialog choice for Takuma.

Are you sure?

The group then notices another set of footprints leading away from the area. Some huge monster footprints indicate that Fangmon is doing a worryingly good job of following them. A mysterious voice nearby leads the group into another encounter, as a trio of Gomamon is under attack from some Gazimon. The Professor recognizes them asthe ones that helped him out when he awoke in this world, and Takuma has a choice of how to respond to their current situation.

Battle - Defend the Gomamon

This fight is fairly straightforward, requiring players to fend off three Gazimon and two Gotsumon while keeping the Gomamon alive. To do so, players should head forward and divert the enemy’s attention onto the party.Virus Digimon are especially effective against Gotsumonand Vaccine Digimon continue to be effective against Gazimon.

Breaking open the chest directly ahead of the starting point will reward a Big Bandage, while the larger chest to the right of the Gomamon contains an “Anti Wind Crystal.”

Once the fight is over, the Gomamon reveal that they saw Shuuji and Saki near what appears to be a dam. They also tell the group to look out for something “shiny” at the Shrine near here.

Shrine and Dam Areas - Exploration

The Dam area is now unlocked for exploration, in addition to the Inner Shrine.

The new Free Battle at the Dam Area features all the same Digimon that can be encountered at the Shrine Area. This includes Betamon, Gazimon, Biyomon, and Numemon.

Inner Shrine

Before leaving for the dam, players should interact with the Shrine at the Inner Shrine to acquire a" Mature Enlightenment Slab," which is used for evolving Rookie-level Free Digimon into their Champion-level forms.

Spider Lilly Forest

Visiting the Spider Lilly Forest at this point willtrigger a battle with Fangmon. This battle doesn’t necessarily require the player to defeat Fangmon, as the victory condition is simply surviving three of Fangmon’s attacks. Winning this battle has a chance to grant a “Mature Enlightenment Slab.”

Visiting the Shrine will also trigger a battle with Fangmon. This battle works identically to the previous one and also has a chance to grant a “Mature Enlightenment Slab” on victory.

Players should visit the Inner Shrine Ext. next for another Fangmon battle and another chance at a “Mature Enlightenment Slab.”

Woods By Shrine

Visiting the Woods near the Shrine will trigger another Fangmon battle and get another chance at a “Mature Enlightenment Slab.” If players return to this area again right after the encounter, they’ll be able to repeat the fight one more time, after which, Fangmon will stop appearing in the Forest Area.

Riverside Forest

Initially, the Dam Area only has one place to go, so players should head for the Riverside Forest to continue the story. The group stops to discuss where Shuuji and Saki might have gone after reaching the river, with the possibility of them falling in or using the river to lose their pursuers being brought up.

They fooled us, too?

Fortunately, Gomamon arrives and guides the group to the path that leads to the Dam. Rather than continuing the story though, players should head back to the Riverside forest immediately after this and search the grass next to Agumon for a “Power Pineapple.”

RELATED:Digimon Survive: Everything You Need to Know About Guilmon

Aqueduct

The group soon arrives at the Aqueduct, with the Dam looming in the distance. The Professor points out that no such Dam existed near the Shrine back in the real world. Speaking to the Professor moves the story forward, and the scene cuts to show Saki and Shuuji continuing their escape from Fangmon with help from Lopmon and Floramon. Unfortunately, Lopmon is understandably afraid and everyone is exhausted.

Dam - Exploration

This exploration segment can be ended instantly by heading right for the Dam Base, but there are a few optional scenes worth triggering first.

Underground Waterway Entrance

At the Underground Waterway entrance Minoru, Falcomon, and the Professor can be found. Speaking to Minoru will trigger a discussion about the locked path leading into the Waterway which ends with Minoru giving Takuma an item he found. The “Earnest Banana” raises the speed of the Digimon it is fed to. Minoru also gets one of those strange garbled text messages.

Aoi and Labramon can be found at the Aqueduct. They’re discussing how humans build things like the Dam, and Aoi hands Takuma a “Crisp Apple,” which boosts the physical defense of the Digimon it is fed to. Aoi’s lack of confidence shows a little here and Labramon is quick to insist that she should have more faith in herself.

Dam Base

Visiting the Dam Base triggers a conversation where Gomamon reveals the entire Dam is Fangmon’s Den. Luckily, Shuuji and Saki can be seen nearby. Less fortunate, however, is the fact thatFangmon is almost right on top of them.

Get its attention!

Regardless of the choice made, the group ends up on the top of the Dam, where, after a quick introduction to Lopmon and Floramon, they find themselves surrounded by enemies. The Professor goes to protect Saki, Floramon, and Lopmon, but is hurled from the Dam by Fangmon’s attack. In the ensuing panic, Takuma makes a choice.

With the group rallied, a battle begins.

Part 2 Boss Battle - Fangmon

Aoi takes a stand to protect everyone and Fangmon accuses her of just “playing the hero.” Labramon immediately leaps to her defense and helps her find the strength to keep moving forward, which in turn flows into Labramon as power. As Labramon evolves into Dobermon, the group gets ready to fight.

Partner Information

With two new Partner Digimon, plus the newly evolved Dobermon, it’s a good time to look at what each of them brings to the party.

Dobermon, much like Labramon, is a well-balanced, Vaccine type all-rounder with excellent physical and special attack stats.Dobermon’s unique attack skillallows it to deal dark damage to a target within 3 squares with a chance of inflicting Seal, which can prevent them from using anything other than basic attacks. Meanwhile, the passive skill “On Alert” allows Dobermon to treat attacks from behind and to the sides as if they struck it head-on, reducing the need to worry about positioning. Dobermon has a vertical movement of 2, allowing it to easily take advantage of paths like the ones found on the lower part of this battle map, which other Digimon might struggle to climb or descend. Aoi’s Talk command allows her to fully heal a partner Digimon’s HP, though Shuuji and Ryo aren’t feeling talkative.

Floramon, Saki’s partner, is a special class rookie Digimon with an affinity for the Special Attack stat. Her “Rain of Pollen” attack deals earth damage to a target within 3 squares with a low chance of poisoning them, causing them to take damage at the start of each turn they take. Her passive skill “Mellow Aroma” improves the chances of allies providing backup during her turn. Floramon is vulnerable to fire and wind damage but resistant to the earth element damage. Saki’s Talk command allows her to boost the special defense of a partner Digimon, though Ryo and Shuuji are unwilling to talk right now.

Lopmon is another special class rookie Digimon, who has the data type, and who also has an affinity for the Special Attack stat. It has the “Lonely Soul” passive skill, allowing it to provide allies with backup more easily, increasing the odds of Lopmon providing an assist to any ally. Lopmon’s “Blazing Ice” attack is a little lackluster in terms of power and deals water damage to an enemy within three squares without having any additional effects. Lopmon has resistance to both water and earth, and is only weak to wind, giving it a better defensive loadout than Floramon. Shuuji doesn’t have a Talk Command yet.

The Battle

The game takes the opportunity to deliver a tutorial on vertical movement as a Numemon approaches from below. At this point, the only Digimon ready to take that low road are Diatrymon and Dobermon, so sending them down there to clear out the enemies and grab the chests is a good call. Using Agumon to support Floramon and Lopmon as they approach Fangmon from the higher path is ideal, as Fangmon is dangerous and shouldn’t be fought alone. Players will want to take advantage of positioning to deal as much damage to him as possible once he is reached and clear out enemies on the way so that they don’t interfere with the fight against him.

The fight against Fangmon is noticeably more difficult thanthe Dokugumon encounter during Part 1. Fangmon’s minions consist of Gazimon and Numemon, both of whom are Virus Digimon who will take extra damage from Diatrymon and Dobermon. They’ll also take additional damage from Greymon if he was the Agumon evolution obtained during Part 1 and Biyomon if she was recruited in Free Battles earlier on.

Gazimon have been encountered before and pose little threat unless they manage to stun a Digimon with their Electric Stun Blast attack, though they slightly resist earth and strongly resist dark, and their weakness to light is difficult to exploit at this stage of the game.

Numemon is rather more dangerous, boasting a decent special attack stat and a range of three squares with its “Poop Toss” attack, which deals earth damage and has a good chance of reducing the physical and special defense of the target. This can soften up Digimon for attacks from Numemon or Gazimon, so Numemon should be taken out as quickly as possible to limit the chance of the debuff occurring. Numemon are weak to fire and wind, but resistant to water, earth, and dark.

Using a Mature Enlightenment Slab to evolve a Biyomon permanently intoBirdramonis a solid strategy for getting a fast-moving Vaccine Digimon on the team early, which will be incredibly useful during this fight.

Lopmon and Floramon will both take extra damage from every enemy on this map as the enemies are all Virus Digimon. As such, it’s very important to provide them with backup during this mission, though they can still dish out a decent amount of damage despite the poor matchup.

Luckily, Fangmon will stay put until one of the player’s Digimon gets close to him, giving players plenty of time to clear out its minions and grab the chests first. One chest contains a “Learning Crystal,” which provides a Digimon with boosted EXP gain from battle. The other holds a “Skill Crystal,” which raises a Digimon’s max SP while equipped.

Winning the battle can yield a number of items, including another Mature Enlightenment Slab.

The Aftermath

With Fangmon defeated, the group celebrates, though there is a noticeable tension between Shuuji and Lopmon. Fangmon, badly wounded, retreats in the face of the group’s superior numbers and Takuma is offered another dialog choice.

Let’s go after it.

Regardless of the player’s choice, the group is exhausted and thoughts quickly turn to the Professor’s fall from the Dam. Minoru suggests that the Professor might have survived and the group heads down the Dam to look for him. The group can’t find a body and theorize he may have been washed downstream. Unfortunately, the fog grows thicker and the group discovers Fangmon badly wounded and trapped by the fog.

So many things to try.

Fangmon is dragged, screaming, into a black portal that forms in the fog. It would appear that Agumon, Falcomon, Labramon, and Kunemon were completely right about the danger the fog poses.
