You can get Pearls of Warding inDiablo 4in two ways:
For the first method, players need to find an active Arcane Tremors event near the Vaults. It is marked on the map as an Obelisk icon with small green leaves, so it is not difficult to find. Head to this location and get close to the Obelisk to interact with it and get some Shattered Stones and Elemental Cores. Having accumulated 50 Shattered Stones and 3 Elemental Cores, you need to find a Brazier as part of the same event and place the collected materials into it. By fulfilling these conditions, you will activate an encounter with a horde of reinforced constructs and a Herald of Malphas mini-boss, upon completion of which, you will receive several Pearls of Warding and other rewards.
The second way is to participate in Vaults or its Nightmare versions. It’s worth noting that players can open more reward chests at the end of Vaults by using Pearls of Warding on Zoltun Statues, but this is not a requirement to obtain Pearls. Players can find these materials in a free chest regardless of their remaining Zoltun’s Warding stacks. However, opening more chests guarantees that players will receive not only rare items but also more consumables.
How to Use Pearls of Warding in Diablo 4
Players can use Pearls of Warding on Zoltun Statues at the beginning of Vaults. For every Pearl you spend, you will receive three stacks of Zoltun’s Warding, which will make the playthrough a little easier, but saving all the stacks until the end of the challenge is not easy. You will lose one stack of Warding for each fall into a trap, and believe us, there are many of them. The next way to use Pearls of Warding is to summon Malphas Boss in theVault of the Loom. This boss is the main target for players striving to obtain new Genesis and Evernight Unique Tuning Stones to improve the abilities of your Seneschal Companion. Of course,defeating the boss is not easy, but even to summon it, you need 10 Pearl of Warding and 250 Shattered Stone.
Finally, players can use Pearls of Warding to create Vault Sigils, keys that unlock the Nightmare Vaults. For this, you only need to visit the Occultist vendor and bring some Pearls. However, keep in mind that Nightmare Vaults are only availableafter you reach World Tier 3.
