OneDestiny 2player encounters a very odd visual glitch while on Europa giving the skybox a laser light show style look and feel. With as much excitement as there is for the upcoming expansion known as Lightfall, the current Season of the Seraph has really started to show the old age ofDestiny 2with numerous bugs and glitchescausing problems for fans. Some of these issues have been relatively minor, such

However, this season has also seen a rise in major problems including content like titles and triumphs that had gone missing completely following an update. There were even a few in theDestiny 2community who lost characters completely, while others saw a rise in server and connection problems. A new visual glitch was spotted and posted on theDestiny 2subReddit by a user named Crimson_Rose_2065. In the short video, the player can be seen on Jupiter’s icy moon Europa battling the Vex, though their mission became that much more difficult due to an oppressive and bizarre glitch. In the background of the level, colorful lasers can be seen shooting into the sky almost as if there is some concert going on. The lights seemingly come and go at random, even getting more oppressive at times and covering the entire screen making playing normally incredibly difficult.

Naturally, the clip set off a ton of gifs and comments about attending raves, while some even joked that Crimson_Rose_2065 was able toexperience Lightfall early ahead of its February launch date. Others weren’t sure if this was a game glitch or a possible indication that the person’s GPU was on the verge of dying. The event was even compared to a common issue with Hunter cloaks getting caught on or expanded into impossible angles as they run.

In terms of the Lightfall expansion, it appears to be introducing the biggest evolution of Destiny 2 to date. Not only are players getting access to the second Darkness class called Strand as well as a new destination on Neptune, butDestiny 2players will finally have a dedicated loadout system, changes to how players deal with champion enemies, and a host of other major quality of life changes.

Destiny 2is available now for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series S/X. The Lightfall expansion is set to launch on all platforms on February 28.
